Thumbs down Mega Millions Sweepstakes

I got a call from Mega Millions sweepstakes today saying I won 1.5 million dollars. The number on the caller id was from Kingston, Jamaica. I listened to everything they had to say and then they gave me a number to call in New York with a serial number so that I could call and claim my prize. I called that number they said the same thing. They asked for the serial number which I gave them. They asked me if I wanted my winnings to be confidential or televised. They also said I could have my money in my account in 24 hours if I go to Wal Mart and purchase a Green Dot card. They said they would send people out here with the check for a shipping/handling/processing fee of $299.00. The thing that scared me was they knew the last 4 numbers of my debit card. I think this happened because I purchased a sd card for my cell phone online from ebay from a seller in New York because I got the call right after this happened. I wanted to know is this real or fake. I asked them the name of the sweepstakes and they said teh Mega Millions Sweepstakes Company. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before? The numer is 1-518-636-7824 and the serial number they gave me was 2839

You can not win a lottery/sweepstake that you have never paid to enter in the first place. It's a scam.

Any request for money to be sent via Western Union or MoneyGram always indicates a scam. Western Union/MoneyGram Indicate Scam!

There is no such thing as a lottery you win without buying a ticket and there is no such thing as a lottery that requires you to pay to get your winnings. That is always a scam! Every time! Also, any request that you pay anything via Western Union is always a scam.
