Al principio me parecía un poco raro todo,pero como me describían el motivo por el cual había ganado,me pareció creíble.Lo que si me dejó con dudas fue el hecho de que me pidieran una foto tamaño pasaporte,supuestamente para mejor identificacion de mi persona en el lugar de pago,la cual,yo envié
Asi que continué adelante,y les respondí ,entregandoles los datos personales que hay me pedían.

En este correo me dijeron que si era ganadora y me describieron como me pagarían el premio.La opción A era contactarme con Halifax Bank,para que me lo depositaran ahi,si es que tenia cuenta en ese banco,pero para realizar esta operacion,me pedían $400 dolares.

La opción B era enviarmelo por medio de mensajería,como Wester Union,o algo asi.Pero para ello,me pedían el doble $800 dolares.

Me pareció muy extraño el hecho de que me estuvieran solicitando dinero,pero ellos me explicaron en el mismo correo,que yo debía pagar,por la razón de que había sido ganadora sin haber comprado ningún boleto,o nada parecido.Me pareció razonable.

Elegí la opción A,porque era mas segura.Así que respondí.

Ahí me explican que debo enviarles $800 dolares por medio de Wester Union al contador de la empresa,para que asi ellos me puedan enviar mi premio,y que les envíe un correo luego de enviar el dinero,con los datos de envío.Además,me especifican que no le diga a nadie por que envío ese dinero,ya que otras personas podrían querer reclamar un premio también.

Yo no dispongo de ese dinero en mis manos,por lo que le respondí que no lo tenía,que lo descontaran del premio,y que todo esto me parecía extraño.Uno,porque averigué por Wester Union,y ellos no envían cantidades de dinero superiores a dos mil dolares.De hecho,esto mismo se los había escrito en otro correo anterior,y jamás me dieron otra solución.

Me contacté con la BMW directamente,y esta fue la respuesta que ellos me dieron.


OJO,LEANLA BIEN,PARA QUE NO VUELVAN A CAER EN NINGUN FRAUDECILLO RELACIONADO CON ESTA COMPAÑÌA-

Siempre que recibas un mail, de cualquier naturaleza, donde te informen que has ganado un premio, o que tu correo ha sido seleccionado, o cualquiera de los tantos scams que circulan en la red, simplemente bórralo.

Lamentablemente hay poco que puedas hacer, y por suerte no has enviado dinero. Sin embargo, no sé si en Chile podrá hacerse, siempre sugiero efectuar la denuncia en alguna dirección policial, asentando que has brindado información personal a esta gente. Diles que ha sido por engaño, o error, en fin, el motivo que parezca más acertado. De esta manera te resguardarías de cualquier problema que eventualmente hubiera de futuro. Para la denuncia, lleva las copias, con headers incluídos, de todos los e-mails que has cursado con los estafadores.

Lamento mucho lo que te ha pasado. Esta gente aprovecha el desconocimiento del público en general y saca ventajas de todo tipo.

Jamás vuelvas a contestar un mail que desconozcas quién lo envía, y mismo asi, hacer el "spoof" de un mail, o sea aparentar que viene de determinado lugar confiable, es bastante sencillo para quien tiene un poco de conocimiento de lenguaje SMTP.
En el Foro , en fraudes africanos, puedes encontrar e-mails que supuestamente provienen de FBI.GOV, o de Bancos caso Santander, BBVA, Halifax, UBS ,etc.
