english bulldog scam

Hey it seems I found this website a little too late. My roommate and I were looking for puppies and came across this ad:

http://tampa.backpage.com/buyselltra...s%20for%20sale

Interested we emailed the woman to see what it was about, how much, if the puppies were up to date on shots and their records and stuff.

She responded, seeming genuinely excited that someone wanted her "babies" and sent me picture of the two of them together, and each by him/herself. The markings matched. I guess I'm just too naive.

My mother warned me about scams. Unfortunately everything "Sylvia Kajiru" told me seemed legit and sincere. That's not enough, don't be fooled.

She told me she she had already sent one to her friend in Maryland and that she had 2 left (the two my roommate and i were going to get) and that although the post said free, there was going to be a slight charge for shipping. $240 each.

Seeing as an AKC registered english bulldog puppy usually runs for 1000 or more we jumped on the offer -- not thinking clearly.

She told us that the next available flight out was at 11:45 pm Friday night, and then there was another Saturday night at the same time. She wanted to know what was best for us because she didn't want her "babies" to be left at the airport too long. (Another convincing line).

We agreed that my roommate and I would send the money yesterday and that she'd ship them tonight (friday) at 11:45. She said once the flight was officially booked she'd let us know the estimated arrival time.

We haven't heard anything yet. And, it would be somewhere between 7 and 8 pm there, you'd think she'd know by now.

I just found this site, and honestly feel like a complete idiot. Not to mention horrible because I was so excited.

Be careful all!

It Is But Normal That Departments In Cameroon...

<removal of unnecessary quote of previous message>
I was also ripped off $2100 from Ferdinan and the cameroon justice helped me recover my money plus an inconvinent balance of $1000 from Mr.Ferdinan's cover as they quoted so i see no reason why someone will have to put in the cameroon justice on Fraud watcher because they have gotten no one out of their money.

It becomes amusing to see these posts made by the very scammers who perpetrate these crimes, in order to make futile and somewhat blatant attempts to justify, vindicate and legitimize their frauds.

To Mr Unregistered from Cameroon (who's IP traces to a satellite ISP that provides service to West Africa especially Cameroon and Ghana) and your partners in fraud; isn't it about time you people realized that your rather pathetic attempts at trying to scam people on an established anti-fraud site are only too painfully obvious to those of us that know all about you?

Thanks for posting - all you have done is reinforce the fact that this is a complete and total sham, and that you criminals care nothing about morality, human suffering and integrity - your only concern is your fat lazy pockets, to line them at whatever cost to anyone else. Ultimately you will pay for your crimes, and I'm sure at that time you will (unsuccessfully) try to find someone else to blame for your greed and sloth.

Pathetic attempt from the mouth of a thief. I mean...really pathetic.

*Click here to see the fake document this criminal uses to re scam his victims. If you've been robbed by these scums, you'll have to beware of the recovery scam where this thief will try to steal even more money from his victims by claiming to be from Justice Cameroon or some other fake name, and pretend that he can recover your money. For a fee. Just another scam from the same criminals.

At least, your posting gives me a chance to remind everyone of the specific details of your scam.

I guess the more you criminals post here, the more you're helping us. It also indicates that we must be having some effect on your income.

Hi there unregistered. I'm so sorry to hear you got scammed by these evil criminals. And unfortunately, as you may have read further back in this thread, any money you have sent is now gone.
But all is not lost - there are things you can do to help others not to be scammed. Tell friends, family, colleagues and neighbours about the scams. Doing this means you can help to deprive the scammers of what they need most - victims who aren't aware of them and their tactics.

Thank you so much for posting, you've given us a lot of good and useful information that will help others who are maybe searching for information on this scam.

Take care,
TG

Cool

I was just doing some general research on the net, and found some Information about importing Pets into the United States and Australia.

-------
USA

Restricted Animals, Agents, Hosts, and Vectors

Monkeys and other nonhuman primates may not be imported as pets under any circumstances. Importation for permitted purposes is strictly controlled through a registration process. CDC's Division of Global Migration and Quarantine, Field Operations Branch administers these regulations.

-------

Dogs

A general certificate of health is not required by CDC for entry of pet dogs into the United States, although some airlines or states may require them. However, pet dogs are subject to inspection at ports of entry and may be denied entry into the United States if they have evidence of an infectious disease that can be transmitted to humans. If a dog appears to be ill, further examination by a licensed veterinarian at the owner's expense might be required at the port of entry.

Proof of Rabies Vaccination: Dogs must have a certificate showing they have been vaccinated against rabies at least 30 days prior to entry into the United States. These requirements apply equally to service animals such as Seeing Eye dogs.

Importation of Unvaccinated Dogs: Dogs not accompanied by proof of rabies vaccination, including those that are too young to be vaccinated (i.e. less than 3 months of age), may be admitted if the importer completes a confinement agreement and confines the animal until it is considered adequately vaccinated against rabies (the vaccine is not considered effective until 30 days after the date of vaccination).

http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/animal.htm

The above site also has a FAQ page about Animal Importation:
http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dq/faq_animal_importation.htm

---------

Australia

Here is a link to a List of exotic animals in Australia subject to risk assessment
http://www.feral.org.au/content/poli...ssess_list.cfm

The information below is from this site:
http://www.deh.gov.au/biodiversity/t...uide/list.html

Australian Government records indicate that these groups of exotic animals have never been imported legally into Australia for the purpose of being kept by individuals for private purposes.

* Primates such as gorillas, chimpanzees and monkeys
* Exotic Reptiles such as snakes, lizards, geckoes, alligators, crocodiles, turtles, tortoise
* Exotic Birds not included in the Green or Amber lists
* Exotic Arachnids such as scorpions and spiders
* Exotic insects such as butterflies, beetles, millipedes and giant cockroaches
* Skunks, Stoats, Otters and their relatives
* Exotic Echidna, Anteaters and their relatives
* Exotic Bats and their relatives
* Exotic coral (live)
* Exotic fish not included in the Green or Amber lists
* Exotic molluscs
* Moles, hedgehogs, shrews
* Exotic Rodents other than Domestic Guinea Pig Cavia porcellus, Domestic (House) Mouse Mus musculus, Brown Rat Rattus norvegicus and Black Rat Rattus rattus and other rodents listed on the Amber list
* Exotic Amphibians such as salamanders, frogs and newts not included in the Amber list

Thanks for the information.

When it comes to Cameroon, the evaluation is easy. I have yet to see one single export of a pet animal from Cameroon that was not a scam. I have seen hundreds upon hundreds of ads for Capucin monkeys, African grey parrots, bird eggs, snakes and lizards, horses, various exotic cats and dogs. ALL *** every single one*** where scams.

So the decision of wether an offer is legitimate or not, if it's from Cameroon or Nigeria, it's a scam. Period.

Indeed, thank you so much Mugu for handing us your new web site on a platter.

I have just reported http://campets.tripod.com/ to Tripod. It should be dead shortly.

Do come back and let us know what your new web site is so that we can give it the same royal treatment.

God! I love my job.

*Edit.

Hey Mugu, what do you intend to do with the money then, build your country up? No, you're going to spend it for booze, bling-bling and electronics, right? Get a life, Mugu!

Quite a shame that a whole nation suffers from a few low-life scumbags.
