My name is Dr Hermann Gmeiner the national director and founder of the SOS villages Nigeria Journal, on behalf of the orphanage children we apologize to have contacted you this way, please bear with us.

The Lagos Children's home is formed by I Dr. Hermann Gmeiner, with a group of friends; we formed a society which was called in German language "Societal Socialis", meaning 'a just society where every child will have the same opportunities' and so the acronym SOS came into being, the SOS villages is run by the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development (M.W.A.S.D.). Children in the home are either given up for adoption or they are sent to school to receive formal education.

In terms of medical care, volunteer government medical doctors are invited to give relevant medical assistance. But the problem is, we don't have enough funds available to run the home at minimal and erratic best, this has manifested in the unimpressive outlook of many of the children in the home. There is an urgent need of infrastructural change as the present structures are falling apart.

The home needs assistance in the areas of feeding, education and clothing food stuff (Garri, rice, yam, palm oil, etc), clothes, clothing materials, toiletries, foot wears, mattresses, pillows, fridges, freezers, television and sponsorship, if possible money, no matter how much you can help, your Us$ 1 will help and God in heaven will grant your request as you help the needy. No amount is too small, because we are looking forward to welcoming more children and this is what this place is made for, we cannot reject new babies when they are brought to the SOS village, the reports we! get is that parents are killed, o

Some parents shouts, no money to take care of you" children wail, "please don't let me die, they say to the children, the society? They do not care because they pity without taking action, they only walk by like the Levites in the Good Samaritan,
The great stars are wearing off at the speed of light; the future of the world is becoming dimmer. The symbolic candle of these children is burning out, pigs eat some, and others die in the cold, while some just become miscreants after the light with life, let put hands together to help this children, to save their lives, and protect their futures, they are denied motherly love not that they are not loved but they are not been showed because they don't have family, The question is, do they still have hope? Alas! There is hope because the great light that will descends on this children could be from you with that they Can get life and thank God for that, SIR/MADAM no matter what you have to help this children will be rewarded to you by GOD ALMIGHTY.
