Considering they can't even decide what their business name is (on one page, they call themselves "Animals Away", on another, Express Pet Delivery Service, and in the header graphic, they're PetExpress) I think it's a fairly obvious scam site.

ETA: They also have the +4470 personal forwarding number. Real businesses rarely use those. Scammers, however, love them.

Not to mention, and I can't emphasize this enough, it is typically ILLEGAL to even attempt to import a monkey into most countries for possession as a pet. If you did actually manage to find a monkey for sale in another country and someone ignorant or greedy enough to ship it to you, it would be seized and destroyed when it tried to enter the country. In some countries/areas/states, it's illegal to even own a pet monkey. In some countries, they do allow the sales of pets bred in the country, but any foreigner claiming they can export a monkey to you is probably lying, ignorant of the law or trying to skirt it.

And frankly, monkeys do not make good pets unless you enjoy the company of pets that will likely be aggressive, impossible to toilet train, intelligent and destructive of their environment when left alone. Primates should not be deprived of their usual social structures. They are also expensive to maintain if you give them proper veterinary care. See the link below.

I received an email afterwards from what they described themselves as PROVINCIAL DELEGATION FOR NATIONAL SECURITY. Is this a legitamate organization? I have yet to have confirmed, any police force, anywhere in the world, that uses free, anonymous and extremely insecure webmail accounts as their "official" email address.... especially from providers such as Yahoo, Hotmail, Excite, Mail.com and the rest of them...

Scammers, on the other hand, always use them.... for obvious reasons...

And suprise, surpise it is the same web page like the one of Visa Pet Travel. So could you please check this and if you agree put a note at your forum.

I almost fell for this scam as well. What my scam artist told me was that she was a volunteer in the Peace Core, however, having been interested in the peace core myself, I knew that the average volunteer generally held a college degree; thus, the scammers bad grammar stuck me. Moreover, the numbers and the email addresses are not legitimate in anyway. In the end I couldn't shake the feeling that this was not legitimate. The culprits bad grammar and unlikely story made me so uneasy I felt I needed to research the situation first, and I'm glad I did. Thanks to this site I saved myself $200 dollars and a disappointing Christmas. I just hope other people will be able to benefit from this and save themselves as well.

I feel like I have entertained you for long enough now, so I'm just going to tell it how it is.

Firstly, before you try and scam any other people into believing that you actually have a puppy for sale you need to check your story for flaws, because believe me, yours has plenty! One minute you said that you were moving to Scotland, now suddenly you're off to live in Wales for three months- yet some how you can still get the puppy to this 'pet delivery service' which is based in Cameroon?! Unlikely.

Secondly, your English and grammar are awful! Your emails rarely made any sense and it was quite clear that you weren't the business savvy person that you were trying to (badly) masquerade as.

Thirdly, your little website 'Pet Air Delivery Cargo' has been deleted by the host Lycos after being foiled as a fake. So it's obviously time for you to create another one. Although I would suggest that you spend a bit more time on the graphics and layout of the new one if you expect people to believe that it is genuine.

Another point to bear in mind is that no reputable (or genuine) company would expect people to pay in advance for a pet to be delivered to them. Payment would always be settled once the pet was delivered safely to the recipients address.

And last but not least, there are already plenty of people out there that are onto you and your lame attempts to extract money out of innocent people. Check the link below.

However, and this is really important.

Please, please don't educate the scammers!!!

I can understand that you're angry and want to stick it to them, however, by telling them what they did wrong you're helping them to refine their techniques, making it harder for future victims to spot them. We don't need these lowlives getting any better at what they do!

My girlfriend took interest in 2 Yorkie puppies and started emailing back and forth with some Lilian lady. They allegedly live in Nevada. When they were to send the puppies all the information was coming from a different email address and the company Worldwide Pet Shippers and the website w2ps.tk. The whole thing stunk and was too good to be true, so before sending the money to them Western Union as requested we decided to do some research. Thanks to this website and a few others we found out that we were almost scammed. They tried to sell the same fake Yorkie's before and even used the same names. We have since sent them an email letting them know that we know they are scammers and I hope they get sent on a bullet train straight to Hell when they die. I don't feel I need to be gracious and courteous to someone with such low moral standards.
