Azzy Flights/Travel flights scam.

I have not read all the recent replies however the website www.azzyflights.co.uk is no longer valid and only www.azzytravel.co.uk. This second website has a message on it at the top of the page GENERAL INFORMATION : WE ARE NOT TRADING AT THE MOMENT PLEASE VISIT US AFTER A WHILE.
Hopefully the various authorities are closing on these people.

The markhortravel.co.uk site has to be linked and I'm getting more than a little suspicious that the suggestion a while ago of a Nepalese link is valid.

You're right George, Markhor Travel Limited, or Markhor Ltd stinks to high hell from the looks of a search I've just made, which shows too many similarities to what I've seen up till now in researching Azzy Travel.

Dear ALL.

Please be aware and do not deal with the Markhor Travel. They are the same peoples who run and got away with the scam. Peoples like me are still chasing them. I paid £635 for the tickey which i never received.

Now at AZZY TRAVEL NOBODY IS PICKING UP THE PHONE and the company's directors resigned from the company back in december 2012 and they set up another company with the above name "Markhor Travel".

The address they provided on the website is some one's house address. Please let every one know so no one can become victim again.

Please advice how i can recover money back from them.

As has been raised in this thread a number of times, the only recourse is action through the civil courts. Unfortunately, that seems unlikely to be successful.

A search of the UK electoral roll does not show an entry for Nabin Rai.

While it won't help to get back stolen money, there is another complaint path for any company registered in the UK. The Insolvency Service is part of the UK Department of Business, Innovation and Skills, as is Companies House.

A complaint about a limited company that is still trading, where it is believed there is corporate abuse occurring (such as serious misconduct, fraud, scams or sharp practice), can be made to the Insolvency Service :

I think all victims done everything same as i ve done and yet NO REFUND from travel agency. OH YES, they have changed the name of the staff there again. I couldnt find nigel,abby, james and ata there. Its ARAM now who was answering the phone which i believe was the same person. Im sure after a month, its new name again.
OH well, the bad guys are winning..where are the good guys? Is the police coming at the end of the scene like in the movie? So frustrating...

thanks for the support dodobird ,ok this insolvency will do something but they will not update us whats happening and they are encouraging us to buy london gazette and see it from there. so i think the amount that i will have to refund from Azzy travel will be spent buying london gazette without even know whether azzy travel is in insolvency.
oh and the ACTIONFRAUD as well was the same, they are just agency collecting info to pass to police and it DEPENDS whether the police will investigate it.they cant even update us whats happening. I was advised to wait for the police to contact me until i think forever.
Its just frustrating really that all of the victims of azzy travel was reported azzy travel to actionfraud and they are not prosecuted yet. My local police said rubbish thing that actionfraud was collecting data and put it together before they action. HUNDREDS OF VICTIMS REPORTED IT AND ACTIONFRAUD WAS NOT DOING ANYTHING.

I sincerely understand your frustration, but law enforcement cannot keep you informed as to what is happening if anything, as this would be in direct breach of confidentiality laws. Notwithstanding that if any investigation is to be successful, it has to keep some form of secrecy. I know you wish it would be otherwise, but unless you're willing to seek formal legal counsel in order to seek other ways to see the Azzy staff find their way to a successful prosecution, you will not be informed of developements by law enforcement until they're good and ready to do so.

At this point, I don't know what to tell you anymore, as between the advice of Shuecraft, George Dixon and my own, I believe that we have given all of you all of the legal reporting avenues out there. I can sincerely say that I'm sorry none of these has worked out as of yet, as it angers me as much as all of you to have seen you come in here to report being scammed over and over again. But even with this, although I understand your anger, the support members of this forum will never encourage or tolerate comments with regards to illegal activity.
