Buying article scam with Paypal

Hello,

I was recently contacted by a buyer for my car, the car was advertised on a normal website and the scammer found it. I suspected something was unusual so took extra precaution as I wasn't sure in the beginning it was a scam. I worked out easily what the scam was... basically; The buyer contacted me saying he wanted the car but could not come to pick it up, after the exchange of a few emails he said he wanted to send the money by Paypal and have the car exported. I then received a bogus paypal email saying he had made the transfer amount plus 750 Euro for export costs. Here is the scam, in order to activate the paypal payment I had to western union the 750 euro to a shipping company under a given name... in other words I had to pay 750 out of my own pocket and I would never receive the money from paypal at all.

I was not stupid enough to do this but I don't want it to happen to someone else. Here are some things in the emails that will help you identify the scam:

OK GOOD.I'm quite satisfied with the condition and price. I will be paying by paypal and i will be paying directly into your PayPal account without any delay, and i hope you have a paypal account. If you have one already, just send me the address to send it to, which is the email address you use for it or you can send me a paypal money request, so once i receive the details i will go ahead with the payment through PayPal details for the payment and then i will contact my shipping company after you get the payment. I will need your home address for the merchandise to be Picked Up by the Shipping Company..

Nice reading from you as I am okay with the details as I think we can finally draw the curtain and make a Deal. I mailed the Shipping Company concerning the Documents that will be needed for the change of ownership and they listed the following for me so kindly check them out if you got them and let me know the missing ones as they said you should them as it will be needed when they comes for the pickup so you should check if you got them:

Certificate of conformity
Proof of insurance cover
Proof of ownership
Proof of VAT payment
Proof of roadworthiness
Payment of automobile registration/road tax

I will proceed with the paypal payment as soon as i receive the paypal payment notification to my paypal with this email address or you send me the following details to make the payment
paypal email
paypal name
amount to send
item description

Attached here is my Passport for verification as I will like you to send me yours also if you have one as I wait for your mail.

Please DO NOT interact with this email address or these types of emails. Once I asked a few basic questions he got very angry and tried to intimidate me... no suck luck as it was way too obvious that when he got flustered the spelling mistakes and angry emails starting flooding in. I reported the email to Paypal and will go on with the sale of my car to someone who will actually enjoy it!
