Not quite sure what you are trying to do here.

If you are applying I am sorry but this is a FAKE, a SCAM, and not an advertisement. Please read the forum before you do something

toniatan, please READ the giant red disclaimer at the top of the post you just quoted. This is a JOB SCAM, not a real job ad. This is not a job site. It's an anti-fraud site.

Once again, note the enormous disclaimer.

THIS POST CONTAINS A JOB SCAM FROM A SCAMMER PRETENDING TO BE MRS. ROSE GRAND OF THE HOTEL OMNI IN CANADA. THE JOB DOES NOT EXIST NOR DOES FRAUDWATCHERS RUN A HOTEL OR OFFER JOBS OF ANY KIND

Thumbs down Fraudulent messages

Hi guys, I have recd the same message from Rose Grant and in addition i also recd lottery winning in London and by Microsoft promotion team. Since I found using them yahoo I deleted all. Usually I keep receiving mails on topics:
1. some company in UK ask me to claim won lottery amount nearly 1.5 million pound (whoa)
2. Some one in Nigeria lost parents, living in refugee camp and have millions of US $, and needs foreign help to get that money.
3. Job offer from Canada.
I had recd this job offer once earlier, then I got curious and had few exchange of mails but I didn't proceed due to some other reasons. I was not in mood of living in CANADA forever and when I returned I couldn't expect any Indian company to pay so high as this Mrs Grant offered. further it seemed to me too foolish idea to leave a company so renowned like "TATA Motors" for any hotel.
Today when I recd this mail again and saw yahoo then I wanted to check it authenticity. Thanks to this forum, Now I am glad that I was not lured too much.

Well, it's not like you can get them back, so report the fact that scammers have copies to your local authorities and the issuing office for the passport and keep a close eye on your personal information and credit history, if possible. That's really all you can do.

is that true:???
No, it's a scam.

As has been stated multiple, multiple times over the course of this and similar threads, real hotels don't offer jobs from free, anonymous Yahoo addresses.

Hotel Omni Scam?

I am a Filipina searching for a job in Canada and just at the right timing, I have received a certain e-mail(i have sent my CV to different job consultant agency) about job vacancies at Hotel Omni. So i tried my luck and submitted my resume. A few hours a reply was sent to me about requirements i need to accomplish. With that, i searched in the net about Hotel Omni and I have come across this site "fraud watchers" and have read the blogs written by different people. With this, I have postponed accomplishing my requirements and after 2 or 3 days, I have received a new e-mail stating the message i have attached below...

If anyone had the same experience, pls be careful and watch out for this.

"MSG FROM MRS. KRISTIN MIDDLETON"

DEAR APPLICANT,

WE WANT TO THANK YOU SO FAR FOR YOUR EFFORT TO APPLY FOR OUR 2008 VISA AND EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM TO CANADA, BUT WE HAVE SEEN THAT YOU CANNOT FULFILL YOUR AIM TO PROCEED FURTHER.

THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT HAS GIVEN ME THE DIRECTIVES TO MAKE A CANCELLATION OF GROUP FROM OUR PROGRAM LIST FOR FURTHER PROCESSING AND REPLACE YOUR GROUP WITH A NEW GROUP.

BECAUSE WE HAVE GIVEN YOU ENOUGH TIME BUT YOU CANNOT FULFILL AND WE DO NOT HAVE MUCH TIME ANYMORE IN THIS PROGRAM.

LASTLY, WE HAVE GIVEN YOU THE DEADLINE OF {22nd DAY OF DECEMBER, 2008} FOR SUBMIT ION OF ALL INTERESTED CANDIDATES OR WE WILL TAKE OUR DECISION AS MENTION ABOVE FOR CANCELLATION OF YOUR VISA LIST.

IF YOU WANT TO APPLY AS SINGLE APPLICANT YOU ARE ALSO REQUESTED TO FILL ALL FORMS AND SEND BACK AS SCAN ATTACHMENT FOR FURTHER AND SPEEDY PROCESSING OF YOUR APPLICATION WITH THE CANADIAN IMMIGRATION VISA BUREAU.

Post I ALSO FACED THIS SCAMM TWO YEARS AGO

DEAR FRIEND,

NO EMBASSY IS USING YAHOO OR ANY PERSONAL EMAIL ID. IF ANYONE NEED VISA THEY SHOULD VISIT AND APPLY IN PERSON. AFTER THEIR APPLICATION, THEY WILL GET APPOINTMENT FOR VISA INTERVIEW. APPLICANT ALSO HAVE TO DEPOSIT VISA FEES INTO A AUTHORISED BANK BY THE EMBASSY. I GOT THIS TYPE OF EMAIL TWO YEARS AGO AND I WAS SO STUPID AND REPLY TO THEM. THEY SCAMMED ME 50,000 INR REGARDING VISA PROCESS. SO DEAR FRIENDS, NEVER PUT YOUR LEGS IN THIS TYPE OF EMAIL.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED TO GO ABROAD THEN GO THROUGH PROPER NETWORK MEANS APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE EMBASSY AND SUBMIT YOUR DOCUMENTS. IF THEY APPROVED THEN ONLY YOU CAN GO ABROAD OTHERWISE, YOUR MONEY WILL BE LOST AND YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING.

REGARDS,
