Duramex - Is this a company?

Anyone heard of this company?
Itz urgent coz they claim to make job offers but askin 4 huge amount in return...

Can you provide some contact details or a website for them, how did you get in contact with them? A company name isn't enough to go on.

But usually when someone asks you for money in order to apply for a job, they are just trying to scam you.

I too have received a job offer in Duramex and the offer letter has got no information about the Job profile other than the Designation. The e-mail ID mentioned within the mail is "info.duramex@oued.info" which is nothing but an e-mailbox support server.

The address as specified in the offer letter is

I googled for the address "duramexoil-uk.site.io" which returned no results. Could you please research and confirm the existence of such an organization and their HR recruitment and immigration support agent by the name

That is a guaranteed scam and they only want your money.

All email addresses are free, including hr-department@duramexoil-uk.site.io which they got through this service: http://www.2ip.com/index.htm
Real companies normally do not use free email addresses. The UK immigration authorities definitely do NOT use free email addresses. But scammers normally do as it helps them stay anonymous.

Outgun is also a free email service (www.outgun.com) not a travel agency.

The phone numbers all start with 4470, this is a type of premium number that is free to set up and receive calls to, and can be forwarded to any number in the world, in this case probably a Nigerian mobile phone. These types of numbers are very frequently used by criminals who want to pretend to be in the UK, but they are not often used by real companies.

A Google search for "Duramex Petroleum PLC" only finds them blacklisted on anti-scam sites:

According to the UK Companies House, this company does not exist in the UK.

I do not know whether this is genuine or not.

It was registered only a few weeks ago, for one year only, to some individual in Nigeria with a free Yahoo email address that anyone could have signed up for. The phone number is a Nigerian mobile. The number you mentioned is the same type of phone number as they were using previously, read my last post.

And their entire website is most likely stolen from here:

The site is with MS Office Live, the domain uses an anonymizing service, they use the same phone number, there is still no company by the name "Duramex Petroleum PLC" registered in the UK.

So yes, it's still a scam, and it's still the same scam. They just want your money.
