Pet Scam - http://www.familybullies.webs.com/

Very convincing. They have an ad on breeders.net and the website http://www.familybullies.webs.com/. The "husband" claims his wife died and she was the breeder and they now want to find homes for their remaining puppies because they remind them of her. All very convincing when you take it in bite sized emails.

Their "address" was about an hour from my house. When I asked to see them, he said they had moved back home to Virginia (I'm in Colorado). They offered a pet transport service, papers, vet reports, pictures, the whole thing. Then after a few emails they said I'd be paying the pet courier service directly.

All of it together was starting to smell bad so I started to Google their website. It came up on this forum as a scam. I thought I'd add my post in case it helps anyone else.

Thanks

I didn't get far enough along for the Western Union receiver info.

Their typos didn't bug me at first. Some people are not very careful when they type. But after a few emails with typos, I started to get suspicious. When they finally asked for my address and said I'd be paying the pet transport company directly I stopped the communication.

Their email address is: kimmorgan209@yahoo.com

One of their first replies:

Hello Dear,

Thanks so much for the mail and interest regards the puppy, we have a male and female puppies now available and they are 8 weeks old, they have very good temperament with kids and other pets,they are very playful love to play around with toys and kids,they are health guaranteed, they are up to date on all their shots and they will be coming along side with their health papers and vet records, First i wish to let you know that we are given these puppies out at this rate because my wife just died so i had to go get the kids along side with the puppies back home here in Williamsburg, VA, and all of us are there now ..She was the owner of this cute little babies. Since she is now late , We can't keep the puppies here in such condition because each time we see them , we keep thinking of her .So we want to given them out to pets loving and caring homes ,where they can be treated as such and keep us up dated on monthly progress.These puppies will be coming from Williamsburg, VA, But if you would be able to come over here for the pick up, we shall be very grateful, but if you can't come ,don't worry OK,life has been made easier here in the U.S.A, we can make arrangement for home delivery with the animals delivery service and they will get the puppies delivered at your doorstep. Below are just some few question i will like to ask;

Where are you located?
Do you have any kids ?
have you ever own this breed before?
why do you love this breed?
what sex are you interested in having?
How soon do you need this puppy(s) over?

Sorry for all the question , but we just want to be sure that the puppies are going to the right home and they will be having all the love and attention they need .We are given them out for $300 each, So please if you are interested, just get back to me, so that we can proceed with the necessary arrangement for the puppies, attached to e-mail is the pictures of the puppies,they are called Caprile(male) and charm(female).
Waiting to Read Back From You Soonest.
