My husband and I decided to purchase a serval cat. We answered an ad that was on Busy Direct. That was our first mistake! I have listed the persons name and address who SCAMED us below:

Everything was going great until it came time to ship the kitten. Then we recieved this message from the courier:

The Delivery company will be held responsible for all damages, should in case anything happens to this kitten (Binky) during their journey to XXX (SDF) Airport, XX.
The Pet Insurance Authority at the Aberdeen (ABZ) Airport will only allow this kitten to be flown to the USA this afternoon, if a REFUNDABLE INSURANCE FEE of €1800.00 EUR is paid to the Insurance Head Department of the Airport Insurance Authority Accountant Douala Cameroon. This money will serve as a temporal guarantee for this Kitten, until they are delivered successfully to Louisville (SDF) Airport by our delivery agent. This money is 100% Refundable to you at the time of Pickup either in Cash or any other form you prefer. You will need to present your a Valid ID to received the €1800.00 EURO in CASH from our agent.
This is beneficial to you because in case of any accident, theft or lost during the transportation of these Pets, our insurance company will compensate you immensely for all expenditures you made in collaboration with the JK INSURANCE COMPANY. Payment is done directly to our accountant by Western Union

This is $2800.00 USD when we refused to send the money they went another route, with a cheaper courier that they could afford. Below is the second attempt and all of the names and addresses used:

After our vet checks some pets are found now not able ,it is found that our vet specialist are require to update your kittens vaccines and travelling conditions we can not take the risk of not changing it traveling aptitude.
so it is put to your notion that we are going to put your pet in any of the flight menssioned below for his destination after wish you must have provided all the fee for his vet shots updating recent feeding for flight and new crate kennel.we do not rent crates. following the breed of your kitten. its shots are suming to five health vaccines including rabise shots. with feeding of this kitten its food are not ordinary cat pet food. If you are looking for a serval kitten, DO NOT BUY from this women! It is just a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be Aware of Pet Scams! Typical Signs of a Scam:
1) Puppies or dogs are not located where they are listed.
2) You are asked to wire money or send a money order.
3) Anything to do with Africa especially Nigeria and Cameroon.
4) Anything that seems to be too good to be true!
Need a pet? Adopt from your local Shelter!

hello!!! its scammer who wanted to sell serval me for 900 dollars. I nearly have not remitted money for its account, but in time have seen the list of swindlers http://www.drzoolittle.net/scammer%20List.htm.
Here that to me wrote:

I want, that you knew, as you want a kitten as soon as possible, we can establish for tomorrow mechanisms of realisation of flight, and you can receive a kitten on Sunday in the morning.
