First of all, don't panic. If you have supplied your name and address to the scammers then you should stop all communications immediately. Ignore their emails and they will soon tire and move on to someone else.

The Email that you have posted is quite Fake.

You cannot win a Lottery that you have never purchased a ticket for. Real lottery organizations will never communicate via free webmail services such as 'Yahoo', and genuine Lotteries will never ask for a fee before issuing winnings.

The fee is the scam, and once paid it will never be seen again.

Hi Arlene248,

Like John said: no need to worry. The most important thing here is that you understood in time that the mail is part of a scam.

Because you did reply to their initial email you can expect a few more emails from the scammers. Just ignore them. In some exceptional cases they might even call you should you have given them your phone number. If this happens just hang up the phone. Apart from that there is nothing they can do with the information you have sent them.
