Yorkie Scam from Cameroon

I have several addresses to list here for everyone to be aware of. I have been out of work and looking for weeks to adopt a yorkie. I am very gullible and it took my husband showing me this site to open my eyes. That and the fact that I lost nearly $400. So here are some of the ones I have come in contact with:

Now, I don't know much about Air France or Cameroon, but I'm quite sure that Air Frances head office isn't in Cameroon.

I haven't heard anything of a scam involving shipping animals before I started sending e-mails to people claiming to have puppies and claiming to live in a certain place. More than half of their replies were containing the country of Cameroon.
I started getting suspicious straight away. So, now I'm in talks with another person claiming to be from Aberdeen, UK. Air France is the selected airline to ship the puppy (if there actually is one) but the money will be sent to Cameroon, where the head office is...

I got an e-mail from this person saying I would need to pay before getting the puppy. Now, I immediately got suspicious again and said that I wouldn't make a payment before seeing the puppy, I asked if they would pay and I'd promise to pay them back. The person then replied that they only could afford 40pounds of the supposed 90pounds shipping fee.

Am I right to be cautious here?

The person replied back to me about 2 days ago saying that if I couldn't trust them then the puppy would be going elsewhere. So I sent an e-mail back saying that I would just go up to Aberdeen and collect the puppy. I said I could probably get up there next week. I asked for the address and phone number.

2 days later no reply.

I also sent an e-mail to the alleged airline people. No response.

I came across an ad. the email was from john_milton34@yahoo.com he was selling a 14 wk old female yorkie for $215 just for the shipping of her. When i mentioned i might not be able to afford it, he reduced the price to $100 and said he would pay the rest. That he just didnt want anything to happen to her, because they were going to quarrintine the puppy. He says that he moved from texas to cameroon and when he got to cameroon that they told him he couldnt bring animals into the country, and he doesnt have any family to send her back to so he just wants a good home for her. the ad is still up, and then someone told me he got her pics from some calendar.. i dunno...help!
