As it says on the website of the Nigerian Immigration Service (http://immigration.gov.ng/VISAS.htm):

Nigerian Visas are obtained in the Countries where applicants are domiciled or the nearest Nigerian Mission nearest to their Countries of residence.

That means, if you don't live in Nigeria but want to work there, you will be dealing with the Nigerian embassy in your country, not with officials who are based in Nigeria.

I have seen dozens of fake job offers that all use the "Str/Twp-nisng05" reference code. These fake job offers and immigration e-mails are all based on a template from one group of scammers that is being passed around.

Any job offer in Nigeria that involves you contacting an immigration official in Nigeria for your work visa is a scam. You always apply for the visa with the embassy in the country where you live, not with immigration directly where you want to work.

This is an employment or visa scam. The scammer usually asks for some
deposit or legal fee to get a visa, or some deposit that will be "repaid"
when you arrive for the job.

If you take a look at http://www.total-nig.com you will see that the
email/web domain has been suspended for billing or abuse reasons. Probably
for running this scam.

It's a scam. total-nig.com is a known scammer domain.

http://www.google.com/search?q=total-nig.com&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

So is visa-immigration-gov-nig.com.

http://www.google.com/search?q=visa-immigration-gov-nig.com+&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a

They send you documents, string you along a few weeks, get you well and truly hooked, THEN they ask for a fee.
