YORKIE PUPPY SCAM

I just recently was looking on Craigslist to buy or adopt a Yorkie puppy & saw the ad below & in contacting this person she mentioned she was in Cameroon. Not knowing where Cameroon was I googled it & saw this link with all the pet scams out of Cameroon. The next day recveived the email on how everything works which was alot like the scams people have posted here. Fortunately, I didn't give any $$ but would like to show who this scammer is...also something else that made no sense...in the ad stated that the puppy was born on Christmas Eve & then in my email was 7 weeks old!!!!

Trust me…she will be WELL taken care of. Me & my husband have 2 other dogs (border collie/German Shepard mix & an Australian Shepard) they both are the most spoiled dogs so she will fit right in. We are not breeders… just love dogs. We don't have any kids YET but are planning to start within the next year or so.
We are in Merchantville, NJ (right outside of Cherry Hill, NJ) but not exactly sure where you are (Cameroon) Where is that located? And what are the adoption arrangements,fees(if any)etc.

Recently I was in search for another fur ball to add to our small but growing family. I came across an add in the Scaramento posts and it mentioned two small newborn Yorkie puppies. I emailed the person asap to get information. She said she was located in Cameroon and wanted the two to go to a loving home. But then she became extremely pushy with the money transfer. Here is the email conversation we posted to each other. Please if anyone is considering to buy outside the country it is not a good idea. Dogs on a plane for an hour is a bad idea what more 6-7 hours? and for that price, it is too good to be true. here is what she wrote:

I was scammed fro $110.00 by a Susan Berkley for a 12 week old yorkie.I guess I was played for a n idiot!I paid for it once she got my money never got a thing just another e0-mail asking for $400.00 for insurance for the puppy!I was contacted my a man asking me to adopt a bulldog for $250.00.
I learned from the first time..My advice to all of you out there DO NOT BY OVER THE INTERNET!!!

dont get caught up i wanted a bulldog so bad i have sent over 600 to them and never recieved a dog. they said they needed another 650 for a refundable permit than i found this website. they will promise you everything but you will never recieve it.

me and my partner are after a yorkie puppie for my young daughter and all we encounter are scams we have not yet parted with any money and hope that no-one else parts with any cash. we have nearly fallen for the nigeria/cameroon scam but was looking on dogsandpuppies.co.uk. and found a yorkie for £180 in the area we live in, so emails were sent the email we got back was stating that the puppie was accually in scotland and the price had shot up from the original price to £200 +. This is so disheartening and should be stopped NOW!! Please lets put a stop to this before good people loose money and bad people make it. M.J.

This is the exact replica of a letter that a few people got scammed on.. and that being said, since you are scam artists you should be ashamed of yourself, trying to tug on caring innocent peoples heart strings and then taking advantage of them. You think that word doesn't get out? Just as easy as it is for you to get people interested in your scam over the internet is just as easy as it is for people to find out about scammers like you. But putting that aside even if you don't get caught right away by the legal system, God knows what you have done and karma wont be kind. You will get what coming to you and this time it wont be money...

Hello my names is Debra ,thanks very much for the mail as regards my lovely puppies Titi and Tina.They are very precious and loving puppies and they where adopt in our home.So they have very good behaviors and closed relationship with kids and other domestic pets.We love them very much because our family is a well devoted Christian family and we treat our pets just as we can treat human beings.If you you are ready to adopt these lovely puppies then you will have to promise me that you will take very good care of them by providing them with all necessary facilities and also spoil them with all their needs because they are very lovely babies and it is a give from my heart.They are 14 weeks of age .They are vet checked akc registered and also have all their shots.Please but before we proceed i will wish that you provide me with answers to the following questions.Are you a breeder?do you have children?do you have other pets?So i am giving my puppies to you for free adoption and you will only have to pay for their papers works(transfer of ownership papers) that is transferring the ownership from my names to your names and this is one of the new law that has come up here that one can not ship pets over of the country without putting the papers under the names of the new owner,so that will cost $200for the two of them and that will be all you will have to pay because i will be the one to arrange for the shipping because all i need is a good home for the puppies If you will take one of them then you will have to pay $100. But you can still decide to adopt one of of them thought i wish that all of them should go to the same home because they have been very use to each other.They love playing toys,and also loves sleeping on my labs. She is also wanting to ship the puppies from SMALL VILLE CAMEROON which does not even exist. She was asking for personal information and to use Western union for transport. I requested to get her to fax vet certificates (showing needles and breeds) and she gave up.

She was very pushy claiming her husband Borris and her where moving into an apartment. So please be careful, look at documents before u purchase. She only wanted $105 by the end of it but started for $210 for transfer of name.

She was claiming to be a christian so to trust her. They are low life's and has nothing better to do then scam people.
