i almost lost my whole savings that i have saved up for me and my children. i had got an email stating that i had won 12.5 million dollars from some sort of lottery... i couldnt believe it so ive been goin along with it. i thought that something was finally going my way, until today when i had recieved an email from a 'legal attorney' stating that i would have to send 500 euros(which is over $770 CAD) to his 'accountant' and after that i would be in contact with the bank to get my winnings. it just felt like a dream so i figured that i would google search the laywers name and whatdo ya know...??? his name came up with the 419 fraud scams that have been going on... so if you recieve emails stating that you have won a significant amount of money, look into it before you get your hopes up... all of the emails i recieved had the subjects all in bold uppercase letters... so WATCH OUT for the 419 SCAM(mine was the Microsoft Uk Award Promo)

Hey there shorty,

I'm so glad you found this site and realised it was a scam before it went any further. Sounds like you didn't lose the money after all. Nice one, for doing a bit of research. You made a wise decision there

Unlike some people, who think that posting "duh" on a victim support forum is going to help anything (insert rolly-eyes smiley here)...
