Fick för någon vecka sedan ett E-mail från Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz.
Enligt detta så hade jag vunnit Euro 1,000,000 genom en dragning på int. adresser. Det enda som behövde göras var att jag skulle skicka ett E-mail till ett kontor i London för att kräva mina pengar. Jag förstod att detta inte var äkta, men av ren nyfikenhet så gjorde jag i allafall detta, för att se vad dom svarade. Fick svar omgående att jag måste betala 1900 pound, för vissa kostnader för att mina pengar skulle kunna betalas ut.
Skrev tillbaka att jag inte kunde betala denna summa på grund av dålig ekonomi för tillfället, men att det kunde lösas genom att man drog motsvartande summa från min vinst. Jag begärde också att få uppgifter om den bank där mina pengar enl.uppgift var låsta och säkrade i mitt namn. Man svarade då att detta inte var möjligt eftersom pengarna var låsta, och man tyckte att jag skulle ordna så att pengarna kunde betalas snarast, annars kunde jag gå miste om vinsten.
Skickade då ytterligare ett svar, och bifogade då en varning om falska E-mail
som jag kopierat från Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz officiella hemsida i Tyskland. Och bad om deras kommentar. Dessutom krävde jag någon form av garanti för att vinsten verkligen finns i mitt namn. Fick också bifogat ett fint document med underskrifter som sades garantera detta. Svaret kan läsas nedan.

Be informed that we are aware of Webmasters trying to tarnish the image of LOTTO Rheinland-Pflaz. Note that the webpage was built by some persons who could not claim their prizes last year. We have filed a law suit against the builders of that site and necessary actions has been taken to put these unlawful persons to book.
As your claims agent, i advise that you make the payment immediately as all is set to get your funds released to your bank account in Sweden.
Note that this lottery is LOTTO Rheinland-Pfalz and not LAND BRANDENBURG LOTTO GmbH that you are saying.
Please find attached to this e-mail, a letter of guarantee signed by the company's attorney Mrs.Felicia Hoy. Note that we are fully aware of its legal consequences and boudaries.
Your funds is now deposited in an offshore bank with a hardcover insurance and as such you are to follow all instruction given so that your prize funds can be deliver to you upon your arrival to Germany.
Although, in essence if you wish to decline from the claim of your winnings by refusing to make the payment of the transfer charges, then as stipulated by the organizers of LOTTO Rheinland-Pflaz,you will be required to send us a Letter of Disclaimer of Funds, stating that you cease to be a beneficiary of the stated prize funds and that you will lay no claim whatsoever on the stated prize Funds, relinquishing your winning and empowering us with the right to return the winning to the organizers of LOTTO Rheinland-Pflaz.
Inform me of your decision immediately as the ball is on your court.
