Witam!

Tak, jest to 'loteryjna' wersja Nigeryskiego przekrętu. Cwaniaczki powiadamiają cię o wygranej, żądają danych osobistych, a w końcu pieniędzy. Oczywiście, żadna wygrana nie istnieje - jedynym celem tego typu emaili jest wyłudzenie jak najwyższej sumy od potencjalnej ofiary.

Dlaczego ten email jest oszustwem:

- Zostal wysłany z bezpłatnego konta email, w tym wypadku aim.com. Każdy może sobie otworzyć u nich darmowe i anonimowe konto. Żadna legalna loteria nie używa tego typu kont.

- Loterie międzynarodowe nie istnieją, nie istnieje ròwnież "European Union Financial Commission Act 2004 on payment of International Lottery Winners." Są to bzdury wymyślone przez naciągaczy, mające na celu upewnienie potencjalne ofiary że tego typu loteria jest legalna.

- Firmy typu Microsoft, Dell i inne nie sponsorują żadnych loterii.

Radziłabym skasować tego maila i nie odpowiadać na dalsze pròby komunikacji.

HI MY NAME IS LAVINA AND I'M FROM THE US. I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA. HAVE RECEIVE THE SAME EXACT LETTER WHICH YOU HAVE ON HERE. MY GOSH, SO THIS IS REALLY A SCAM?? THAT'S THE FIRST THING THAT CAME TO MY MIND WHEN I RECEIVED THE LETTER AND THE YELLOW FORM TO FILL OUT AND ATTACH UR ID OR PASSPORT INFO AND FAX IT. I THOUGHT I SHOULD JUST TRY IT BECAUSE MAYBE, MAYBE THIS IS REAL AND I HAVE WON SOME MONEY!! SO DIS IS A SCAM?? I HAD ALREADY FAXED MY INFO TO THIS PERSON AND WHAT ARE THEY GONNA DO WITH MY INFORMATION?? CAN U PLEASE GET BACK AT ME ASAP!! PLEASE ASAP!! I WANT TO SUE THAT PERSON FOR STEALING MY IDENTITY!!!!!

Yes, it is a scam.

If you have given your personal details to these scammers, I would advise you to do the following:

- Monitor closely all of your financial accounts and credit reports, to ensure that your personal information is not being used for Identity Theft.

- Contact your local government agencies, and inquire about reporting your identification documents as compromised.

- Stop communicating with the scammers.
