Yes they did the same to me. But I called my lawyer, he found it to be a scam. I'm grateful to have someone watching my back that I can trust. Those letters seemed so real. I was really feeling sorry for deborah gomen.

A lot of people did feel sorry for "her", you two. But that's exactly what this kind of scam play on - sympathy, emotions, and the desire to help others. The scammers know that emotional involvement on the part of the victim gives them a lot more leverage over the victim's actions (ie sending money)

It's good though that you both did some research and found out it was a scam before it went any further. Kudos to you both!! :thumbup:
