The letter, yet no phone call or other pieces of information, the usual standard fax and the offer and other information, that would correspond to a normal deal. Not to say that email is not a good transaction medium, it is though it is not enough and looks like a scam and their is no phone number either.

What I dont understand about these matters, is that I am paying for a chicken's chase to follow a non existent fund, to find nothing, I am trying to figure what exactly the scam is doing. Asking people to travel, why not just leave a message and then call me. The email is bizarre, given there must be several of law practices in England, and several areas where the money could be used for charitable activity and provision upkeep and other matters. I don't get it.

Why does this scam manage and apparency, it is so cruel and mean, I like to ideate about a better life, though the game involved in this particular scam is really disgusting and stupid. Why not just invest the money into a bank account transfer it to a trust with a reputable bank, with a good history and attach five reputable charitable organizations with a good track record of providing provision and funding to the destitute and women with financial problems. Why mass global fraud for a concept that is really commendable in daily living.

It really is a ****ty fraud to pull, because the context is truly a reality in most cities and is very commendable and for good reasons..

From: Madam Catherine David.
4 Old Church Street, Chelsea, SW3, England.

Good day to you. I humbly wish to introduce myself to you
through this Medium though it has been abused by people
against the initial anticipation and intent of the inventors.
I'm pleased for contacting you to help my husbands dream
come true.
This letter may come to you as a surprise due to the fact
that we have not yet met before. I was desperately looking
for a person to help the dream of my family come
true.
I am Madam Catherine David, suffering from
cancerous ailment. I am married to Engineer Silas
David an Englishman who is dead. My husband was into
private practice all his life before his death. Our
life together as man and wife lasted for three decades
without child. My husband died after a protracted
illness. My husband and I made a vow to uplift the
down-trodden and the less-privileged individuals as he
had passion for persons who can not help themselves
due to physical disability or financial predicament. I
can adduce this to the fact that he needed a Child
from this relationship, which never came. When my late
husband was alive he deposited the sum of 3
Million[THREE Million Great Britain Pounds Sterling] in 2
boxes
which were derived from his vast estates and
investment in capital market with a Finance/Security
Company here in UK.
Presently, this money is still with the Security company
Recently, my Doctor told me that I have limited days
to live due to the cancerous problems I am suffering
from.
Though what bothers me most is the stroke that I have
in addition to the cancer. With this hard reality that
has befallen my family, and me I have decided to
donate this fund to you and want you to use this gift
which comes from my husbands effort to fund the upkeep
of widows, widowers, orphans, destitute, the
down-trodden, physically challenged children,
barren-women and persons who prove to be genuinely
handicapped financially. It is often said that blessed
is the hand that giveth. I took this decision because
I do not have any child that will inherit this money
and my husband relatives are bourgeois and very
wealthy persons and I do not want my husband's hard
earned money to be misused or invested into ill
perceived ventures. Please always be prayerful all through your life.
and assure me that you will act just as I have
stated herein. Hope to hear from you soon and God
bless you and members of your family.
please reply me through my private mail address:

Yours Faithfully,

Madam catherine David

I believe you meant for all of your posts to be in one thread. They don't make much sense scattered out into three separate threads. In fact, it makes a bit more sense as one post.

You also have an "Edit" button where you can correct spelling mistakes in your posts or make other adjustments. I've merged and taken care of the edits you wanted to make.

Just a few additional comments. Email is all well and good when you have other ways of confirming a person's identity. Free, anonymous email is not a good medium for a business or financial transaction, particularly with someone you've never met. That's entirely different from dealing with an employee of a company emailing from the company's official site, for example.

And the scam's doing what every scam does. Trying to give you a reason to send the scammer your money. In this case, it would probably be for some non-existent court fee, legal fee, lawyer fee, clearance certificate or transfer fee, so you can get all that money into your account and start "doing good". The scammer is probably betting on the fact that you won't be willing and able to drop everything and travel to a foreign country on short notice. When you mention how hard it is, they'll just happen to know a way a lawyer can do it on your behalf while you stay home, provided you pay his fee by Western Union.

Or, if you do travel, 419 gangs have been known to rob, kidnap, hold for ransom, even murder victims who traveled to meet them face to face. They don't care what they put you or your family through. They just want your money.

And why exactly are you surprised that a bunch of lying thieves who have absolutely no problem scamming you out of your last dollar would dress up their scam as a "good deed"? There is no money, there is no charity, except the money you will be donating to the scammer. He doesn't care that he's giving charity a bad name.

If you think this scam stoops low, you haven't seen anything, yet. There have been plenty of scammers who have posed as charities for dying, sick, starving children, and shamelessly used photos of real suffering. They've posed as people who have lost relatives in wars, they've used real people who died in public tragedies to lend some authenticity to their scams. In short, they have no shame. None whatsoever.
