Could you clarify, please? You received a facsimile check from whom? And you sent a subscription check to whom?

If you're referring to Freelotto.com, then I suspect you won't be hearing back any time soon. They only want the money for your subscription. They send out hundreds of thousands of advertising emails disguised as "winning notices", and if you read the fine print, they don't actually say you've won anything.

I received facimile cheque no M98211 from freelotto and getting mails from cordinator@freelotto.com, winner@freelotto.com, prizesupervisor@freelotto.com, e-mail@freelotto.com, freelottoprizeheadquarter@freelotto.com, congratulation response by XX date

Please tell that issuing a facimile cheque, is it a fraud, is it in the law of US to issue facimile cheque anyone anytime. Please confirm me with the details.

As I havs already send subscription cheque for four month and waiting for my PIN vaildation and winning amount to be send.

Facimile cheques are fraud.

Please clear me Nyla.

No, sending a "simulated check" is not a crime, so long as it's plainly marked as such. Sweepstakes do that all the time, frankly.

However, in my personal opinion, you've wasted the money you sent in for a subscription. Freelotto is technically operating within the law, but I would personally term it a scam. They spam people with up to 60 marketing messages a day. They fool people into believing they have won a prize in order to get them to subscribe to a service. They have had numerous complaints that they do not stop billing for this service, even when it is cancelled. They call themselves "Freelotto" when obviously, their service is not really free, and they are not technically a lottery. They are a sweepstakes. With positively astronomical odds of winning anything.

The simple fact is, you cannot win a lottery or sweepstakes that you didn't already enter. I bet you got your "winning notice" well before you subscribed to Freelotto. That's because, if you read the fine print carefully, it is NOT a winning notice. It's an advertisement for the subscription service. It is a way to convince you to spend money on their pay to play F.A.S.T. service.

Freelotto sends out thousands of these things a day. There are multiple references to this company and their business practices on this forum, and on the internet. In most of the following threads, people have received "winning notices" just like yours except for the names.

They won't be sending you a prize, because there is no prize. If you read between the lines, they've never said you actually won anything. They say that IF you subscribe to F.A.S.T. and IF you win, then you will get a prize. Those are two very big "IF"s.

Marquita, it's impossible for us to email you if you don't provide an email address and are not a registered user. If you need an email reply, try using our Contact Us form. You should not post your email address in public forums, unless you wish to have even more spam and scam email, thanks to programs that search the internet for email addresses to harvest.

Second, we (Fraudwatchers) are not sending these emails to you. We are primarily a scam and fraud prevention/education website, all volunteer run, non-profit, and we do not send emails about lottery wins. We certainly don't send email on behalf of Freelotto, which is a commercial (for profit) site.

Third, no, you have not won. You've received the exact same piece of unsolicited commercial email (spam) that thousands, possibly millions, of other internet users have received. It is a carefully worded advertisement, not a winning notice. For more information, see http://www.fraudwatchers.org/forums/showthread.php?t=5624

... so who are you talking to exactly? If your text is targetted to FreeLotto.COM I suggest you refrain, they do not have anything to do with FraudWatchers, so posting that here is pretty pointless. If you have a gripe with the REAL company I suggest you take it up with them directly.
