I received pretty much the same letter in Ireland. It was posted in Correos cta Sevilla on 27-01-2007. All the reference numbers etc are almost identical.

I share 3rd prize with another 10 international "winners"

Hi,
My father received the same letter with the exact same reference details! Is it definitely a hoax? If so, what can we do to stop these people doing this?

Yes, all these lottery emails are scams. You can't win a lottery you never entered. Real lotteries are not international, they do not notify winners by email, and they definitely do not ask for fees before sending the prize money.

For more examples of these scams, see here:
http://www.fraudwatchers.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=109

Stopping them from being sent is not much of an option, as these scammers are normally located in countries where the law will not reach them. The best way to stop them is education, just try to inform people you know about these scams.

I got the letter in my mailbox today.
The whole letter is sooo fake! A "stamp". So easy to see that it is made on a computer!

Hi.. i'm from denmark..

My father got documents from these swindlers 3 times. My sister got papers from these once.

They are really some amateurs. I think it's really funny that they even not have any website!!??!!

Either these people are swindlers or else my father is really lucky :D..

Don't believe in these people, just throw the papers out.

See ya
