Hey,
You are right. It is a scam.
There is no such thing as an International Lottery.
The law is different for each country.
You will be asked to pay money before you receive the "$1,500,000
then they will ask you for more money ...
and more....
Lotto.nl is real but these people do not work for Lotto.nl
They do not email people and tell them they have won.
They do not use free email addresses (yahoo.com)
They do not ask you for money.
You must buy a ticket to enter any lottery.

P O BOX 1010
LIVERPOOL, L70 1NL
UNITED KINGDOM
(Customer Services)
Ref No: UK/9420X2/68
Batch No: 074/05/ZY369
WINNING NOTIFICATION
Teléfonos y persona de contacto: Mr. Richard K. Lloyd
Online coordinator for THE UK
INTERNATIONAL LOTTERY
Sweepstakes International Program
Realmente me gustarÃ*a saber CÓMO DENUNCIAR A ESTAS PERSONAS.

Hello, all.
I unfortunately don't speak Spanish, but I wanted to post this here anyway. I got this letter in the mail way up in Wisconsin, U.S., from this La Primera Lottery Company based in Madrid, Spain, and the website is http://www.laprimerahome.com . The letter says it's an "Award Notification/Final Notice" and says I won $984,510.30 because my "agent" (I didn't know I had an agent) picked my "ticket" with seven certain numbers. Of course, on the second page, they want me to give them my bank account numbers. They add that they "urge me to keep the award CONFIDENTIAL until my claim has been processed." Kind of weird.
I can't tell if it's fraudulent or not, but it sure looks like it. E-mail me at *removed* if you have any experience with this company.

Hello Julia.
If you don't participate in a lottery you can't win it - so yes, this is indeed a scam. Please ignore the email and simply delete it.
If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask.
Hello to All,
Today I received a letter from La Primera Loteria Espana stated that I won a ton of money. At first glance I thought that perhaps my travel agent entered me on some sweepstakes but on the second read I realized that the named agent was unknown to me.
Here is my idea how it works and what they are after. The letter I received asks for an ID scanned and sent to them. Imagine sending your picture ID (Identification) to an unknown address. I think it is identity theft ring and seems to be claver at that. The amount of money is considerable but not out of line. A twenty or eighty million jackpot would make it suspicious whereas the just bellow one million makes it somewhat believable. Also, if you do mail/fax/e-mail your ID to them you are doing it voluntarily.
Good Luck to all for staying away from such crocks. I wonder how many less clever people have fallen victims already.
Best wishes, Julius/Julio/Giulio/Jules
All,
I also got a letter from La Primera Loteria Espana. Again, same story, I did not play or had an agent to play for me. Looks like I won 742,185.57 euros. Obviously it's a scam but I have to admit they made it pretty good looking.

I also got one of those "wonderful" letters claiming that I won almost a million dollars. But I have dome some research to determine if this a truly a cleaver scam. The letter provides a link to the lottery web site. A simple google search does not return a link to this site as the first reference meaning that this site is not marketed. Second, the site was created with "WebSite Tonight" product based on the templates, witch it does look like a template. Third, supposedly you can login to the Winning page using credential supplied in the letter, but the login service is not secure. Also, you can check the winning numbers, and the number of winners and the amounts do not match. Additionally, I am wondering what currency rate was applied to convert Euro to Dollars. It should have been somewhat close to $1.3 million using the current rate. I guess, I was getting ripped off already. Well, lastly look at the MOST convincing reason:http://whois.domaintools.com/laprimerahome.com
Pay close attention to the location and the date of the domain name registration.
Despite all this facts, I consider this a serious scam attempt. These guys are actually sending letters from Spain and have "valid" (perhaps, unified) international numbers. I hope others do some kind of research before falling into this scam.
Good Luck,
Shltirliz

Hello, all.
Unfortunately the scam happened to my brother (he has no clue about computers), who lives in Cleveland, Ohio; he got this letter in the mail, from this La Primera Lottery Company based in Madrid, Spain, and the website is http://www.laprimerahome.com . The letter says it's an "Award Notification/Final Notice" and says he won $742,185.57 He suppouse to contact the "agent: Ricardo Gomez" from Allians Seguros, who wanted him to send them the amount of $2,500.00 Euros for tax government fees and all the personal information including a photocopy of the passport and bank account information. My brother asked me for a loan of $1,500. US which I sent it to him, I live in Canda so back then in 2007 our Canadian currency was low so I ended paying extra $300.00 canadian dollars, after my brother sent them the wire transfer, the asked for an extra amount of $5,500 Euros, claming that it was for the bank interest, at the end he didn't got any $$ from the winning prize.
So take it as a good advice "It is too good to be true",
PLEASE DON'T MAKE THIS @#$#%^&*#@%$ MORE RICHER", THEY ARE THE WINNERS BECAUSE THEY ARE GETTING OUR MONEY AND WE GET SCAMED"
SO NOW I CAN ASSURED YOU: THIS IS A ($##$#@&*^ ) SCAM.
