Once again, it has come to our attention that we have been named as a "partner" for SecuritySellers.Com (url: http://www.securitysellers.com/partners.htm (http://www.securitysellers.com/partners.htm%29)).

And once again, this alleged partnership is one that we know nothing about, nor have we been approached about using our logo or information by this organization (who are currently using it illegally).

The whois information for this domain gives the following details:

Domain servers in listed order:
NS2.TERRAEMPRESAS.COM.BR
NS3.TERRAEMPRESAS.COM.BR As can be seen, this is a domain that has been registered for one year only (a red flag in terms of possible frauds) and the site is hosted in Brasil by terra.com, one of the major ISPs in that country.

We have not been able to find any contact information on the above website - no telephone, no address, no email, no contact forms.

We therefore reiterate that this "company" or organization has absolutely no affiliation with FraudWatchers.Org, and we would NEVER offer any kind of approval, reference or recommendation to any such company or organization.

Please be very wary if ANY company or organization approaches you, or makes false claims on their website, that they have such affiliations or partnerships - this will be totally false and is more than likely designed to lull their "clients" into a false sense of security.

If you find any such references to ourselves, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! Please ask us via our forums or Contact Us form if you wish confirmation of any such claims.

The offending page isn't there any more.

To me, the site itself doesn't look like it's fraudulent. They don't seem to be selling anything to the public. But they are *extremely* careless. (Not to mention unethical for using FW name in the first place).

Given this, I wouldn't buy anything from any company recommended by this site.

For example, they list the following company:

Chongqing Fanno Development Co., Ltd.
Chongqing Deyuan Imp.& Exp. Co., Ltd.
Chongqing Lianyi Tea & Native Produce I/E Co., Ltd.

We may supply "JINGANGWEISHI", or "FANNO" or "REDBAT" BRAND Intelligent (Digital) Electronic Remote Wireless Theftproof Alarm System with the Certificate or Approval by Quality Inspecting and Testing Centre of China Police Ministry. for MODEL: RB-IB for House, Shop, Office, Warehouse and others as well as for MODEL: QC-969 for all Cars and more Models for motorcycle. If you are interesting on them, please tell us your quantity and destination in order to offer them as CFR or CIF to you sooner.

Note that these are the only contact details given. Anonymous email addresses, anonymous Skype phone, phone numbers. No physical address, no website.

Presumably the "Chongqing Lianyi Tea & Native Produce I/E Co., Ltd." has branched out into alarm systems and paid money to be included in this directory of alarm system suppliers.

Sorry, my fault when I posted the link - it had an additional closing bracket on the URL - it should be working fine now, and yes, the page is still there. Thanks for the heads up, Frazzle :)
