We then we nailed for every fee you could imagine, and where told these fees where now our liability because we added to much gold to the shipment and that Peroq would not cover the usual cost because we have exceeded their comfort level as a new buyer.

We where asked to pay for the insurance, freight, cargo, embankments, metal boxes, shipping cost, and several other fees before the gold could leave and most of these fees where sent to a fraudulent cargo company by the name of Cargo Handling SARL.

In addition to this bait and switch all these items would pop up as though they where unexpected and whenever we would apply pressure to ship because we had fulfilled their request time and time again.

The final issue came when they ran out of excuses and fees, right when the gold was suppose to leave we received a call and was told that a tribe elder in the Kalana village had past away and that the gold could not leave until the right to the land being blessed where paid.

They wanted 30,000.00 in order to handle this.

However we negotiated and singed an agreement that is we paid 10,000 and Peroq paid 5,000.00 that the Village would be able to handle the blessing of the land and allow the gold to leave.

We paid, and it never happened.

There are risks involved in traveling to Conakry Guinea to meet gold scammers. Here's a news article on a Kenyan that did and as a result was kidnapped, tortured and held for ransom for over a year.

On arrival in Conakry, I came out of the arrivals, and the ones who were receiving me shouted my name and so I went to them.
They said they were taking me to the company's guest house; what they called a villa. But then when we got to the villa they told me they were arresting me under the terrorist act.

The place they confined me in was a six-by-six room with no ventilation.
They beat me. They kicked me severely, they broke three ribs and they hit me on the legs
I stayed inside that room for one year and 16 days. They only opened it to give me food three times in a week but it was very, very irregular. I was sleeping on the floor without anything to cover myself.

They stole all my belongings - my clothes, my phone, my wallet, everything I had on me. All I was left with was underwear and a vest. They would clean me by blasting water on me every morning. This was usually at the same time as when they were giving me my food. Every now and then they would make me call home and ask for money. They said if they didn't get money, they would not be able to feed me. My family sent them money - they sent a total of 900,000 Kenyan shillings [almost $12,000, £7,000].

Guinea can be a dangerous place and Guinean scammer gangs regularly invite their victims to visit them, the mine installation etc.., the whole scenario is setup with scammers playing various roles. There's even reports of local officials being implicated. This scam is perpetrated by both registered and unregistered companies.

I doubt very much that Guinea has the necessary industrial base to produce enough copper scrap to export at a competitive price, and if they did, they wouldn't have to try to peddle it on free B2B sites this way when countries like China would be more than willing to take it off their hands at or near the going world price. It's the same with other scammer infested countries like Cameroon where every single offer of scrap metal of any kind is a fraud, bar none. I know you're not looking for scrap metal but my point is, if someone advertises a product they likely don't have, then that individual is suspect regardless of what other product they may advertise.

This one is full of red flags indicating most probably a fraud. The same phone number being used under no less than 8 company names. Two would have been enough to indicate probable fraud, 8 pretty much nails it.

Well there are several concerns. First the company doesn't appear to have a website. In this day and age where domains and websites are so affordable there is almost no reason for any legitimate company advertising their services not to have a website. These networks are notoriously populated by scammers. Very few legitimate companies use free email addresses such as "abdullah.moh11@gmail.com" Scammers love such addresses as they are untraceable and anonymous. Almost no legitimate company would use a pre-paid mobile number as its main number and that's what this "company" is using. There as many scam gold dust sellers are actual ones, if not more. I would suggest, especially if you are traveling to meet representatives of this "company", that you enlist the services of a due diligence firm to ensure that this company is legitimate as there are enough questions concerning same.

Mining companies don't go on the Internet placing ads in free classifieds searching for customers to buy their gold...at a discount, that's ludicrous. You are describing the typical Guinea gold scam, the only advice I can give you is to contact your embassy in Guinea. Documents and passports can be fake or real, in these scams it's unimportant because the scammers are often registered and can even have support from corrupt local officials including police officers. The scenario is usually, whatever they promise even if it's backed up by documents is changed at the last minute and they request more advance fees, and the victim winds up at the airport waiting for the promised gold which never arrives due to some last minute excuse from the scammers. There is a risk of kidnapping also.

All you have is a web site hosted on a free server (anonymous) and some yahoo addresses (also anonymous) with content copied from other sites.
