This site purports to be a seller of an herbal preparation known as "yugandan". It is marketed using inflated claims that it functions as a treatment, or even total cure, for Hepatitis C. We have received a report that this particular seller may accept payments for orders and then not deliver goods as promised. The registration details for the website are somewhat suspect, and the payment methods are as well.

Quite aside from the possible monetary/order fulfillment issues, ordering treatments of this nature is extremely dangerous. The only approved and tested treatment for Hepatitis C is interferon and ribavirin, which should be prescribed by a medical doctor, and treatment should be closely monitored. Taking herbal preparations can cause extremely dangerous spikes of enzyme levels in those diagnosed with Hepatitis C.

Herbal treatments are not regulated by the FDA or similar safety agencies, and there is no governmental or consumer agency oversight in regard to their purity, uniformity in manufacture, reliability, or safety. Keep in mind that "natural" does not necessarily mean "safe". Like any pharmaceutical drug, herbal treatments can have negative, even dangerous side effects. Extreme caution should be exercised when ordering any sort of herbal or pharmaceutical treatment over the internet.

Please do not self-medicate and do not leave your doctor in the dark about any prescription medications, over the counter medications, or herbs you may be taking. Falling for a scam involving medical treatments not only puts your wallet at risk, it could cost you your health.
