Yes they will show you SGS reports stating this,So ring up the lab who did this report an verfiy it...In most cases every single time they will tell you its fake.

Guys Please understand that gold is something the whole world needs, so reality is there far greater companies world wide that have already gone in there an bought the gold or bought the mine. Yes there is what they call Artisan Mining.But thats if you want like 1 to 5 kgs of gold over a 12 month period.

Dont think Gold is so readily available. Why do you think the gold price has sky rocket to high levels? because gold is so hard to locate, even for the biggest companies.

A very good example Poirot as to why you ring the officers directly to find out an confirm if this is true or fake.

I had a gold deal several years ago, they used names from a Solicitors firm in Ghana. i rang them up directly and they never heard of the names mentioned or were not involved in any such Gold transactions.

It may cost you 100 dollars to spend time an ring these places to confirm but its a lot cheaper then sending thousands of dollars over and losing a far greater amount.

Do not take there word for it an find some phone numbers yourself.

Ring them directly and tell them what you have received an would like to verify whether this is real or not.

Dont then stop there because sometimes the Phone numbers you find over the web may also be a scammers officer as well. Dig deeper. If they are a gold mine ,ring up the Mining Commission in that country an confirm the Mine owners exist.contact the local Tax authorities and find out if there business is registered.

Which is a compulsory check everyone must make due to the Money Laundering's act in making sure you are doing business with a business thats fully registered.

If all results give you a good score over 80% then it might be likely that you have a real source. As a Risk Manager i find when you add up all the Positives an negatives in DD aspect, If the negatives out way the positives you walk away.

Dont be disheartened if anything doesnt arise, be proud of your self that you found this out before any major damage was done.

Major companies normally hire Solicitors in that particular country to do the DD for them. because even the majors know that some of the Scammers are that cunning they can convince anyone...

I had another copper deal years ago where they even mentioned a large producers details to be the owner of the goods.So... I rang this manufacturer and walla they confirmed to me in a day that they have never ever heard of the company pretending to be a rep for them and told me it was indeed fake.

After doing much Due Diligence and even speaking with the Ghana Embassy
They informed us that ALL Gold Exports from Ghana MUST go through PMMC (Precious Metals Marketing Corporation). ALL individuals or Small Scale Mining operators MUST register with PMMC and ALL Assays, Documentation, Sales and Shipping are done through PMMC.

We even contacted PMMC directly for verification and below is there response.

We write to confirm that GLOBAL GOLD SCRAP LTD (aka G.G.S. Ltd) is not registered by PMMC.

It can therefore not operate under the small scale mining sector of Ghana.
