For anyone interested, here's a good example of a scam underway. The company is Totong Bernanah, located in Indonesia. I asked for 20 PS3 for Australian market, PAL versions & 240 volt.

They using a shipping company called 1stexp.com

Email text:

"Dear Rick

Here is your tracking number for ps3 .
as we said before that units in delivery service for days and we pay for
additional cost but thats not problem as long we have a good business

Please check tracking number : YVJR8U1KGB61162575155
please check at : www.1stexp.com

Thank you for payment and please sent me copy of payment so we can contact
our bank

BEST REGARDS"


And another lot of emails:

dear Rick Mason

Thank you for response.
we will cancel all order for PS3 except you

we will wait until Monday . We will prepare packing units now and we will
confirm your tracking number on Monday .

Yes units can use in australiaan market because units are PAL

Please confirm me on monday after you done payment so we can process
shippment Soon

Hi Rick,

The first thing you can do is get their web sites shut down. Scammers hate that, because it costs them time and especially money to register a domain and get a website set up.

Use the Whois lookup on www.dnsstuff.com to locate the hoster of www.1stexp.com & totongbernanah.net then forward the scam emails to the hoster's administrative contact and ask them to shut down the domains.
