I was contacted by 8 different individuals to process checks for them. They all turned all to be engaged in criminal activity. When I tried to report the activity to the police, they would not accept the information including copies of these forged checks and certified checks. Be wary of these individuals.

If you got the checks through the US Mail, you can file a report with the US Postal Inspection Service. Just provide them with the checks, and letters that were included, and the mailing packages if available. They will take the report and forward it to their proper office(s) that handle these types of offenses.
