Optimum Online has identified a fraudulent email attack targeting Optimum Online subscribers. Email is being sent that attempts to impersonate Optimum Online technical staff and trick recipients into entering personal data into a rogue website. These emails are not from Cablevision or Optimum Online and users should discard the emails immediately. It is important that customers DO NOT click on any of the links found in the email.
If you did enter your Optimum Online username and password into the site we recommend that you change your password without delay. :o
Always be careful of any emails that request personal data. You can verify the veracity of any email by calling the customer service number from your BILL(NOT ANY NUMBER ON THE EMAIL FOR THAT MAY BE A FRAUDULENT NUMBER)
