Luisa Estrada, wife of disgraced former Philippine president Joseph Estrada, is one of the most frequently impersonated characters featured in 419 scams. Originally her role in 419 scams was similar to that of Maryam Abacha (http://www.fraudwatchers.org/forums/showthread.php?t=258) of Nigeria, i.e., bogus offers to help transfer million of dollars stashed away in foreign bank accounts by her husband.

These days the name has taken on a life of its own. She will appear working for fake lotteries or appear in other 419 scams unrelated to her husband, such as this one:
