Sir,

Very recently my friend named srimalleswaraprasad got an e-mail fro a member of paypal.com stating that if he becomes member of "paypal.com" by paying $12 in "paypal.com"a/c,and joins another member in the same process he gets his $6 back and for every new member he joins ,he gets $6.

NOt only this for every new member joins under his member,he gets $1 into his paypal a/c.This continues upyo 6 steps.

If this works really one whi reaches to 6th level gets millions of dollars.

But,My question is Is this a scam? How far this is reliable?

You just described the classic Pyramid Scheme, which is illegal in many countries. And of course, it's a scam.

Be assured that it was not operated by Paypal. Joining Paypal does not cost anything, and they do not engage in pyramid schemes.

If you get the actual Paypal email or a web site your friend was referred to, please post it here so we can have a look at it.

If you go to www.paypal.com , you will see clearly in the left column: PayPal is free for buyers.

Merchants have a different arrangement where they may pay a percentage, but nothing like you describe.

Very recently my friend has got an email to his mail address from a person who has become a member of paypal.com, requesting my friend to join in the chain system of paypal.com by paying 12 dollors under him into the paypal account. Out of 12 dollors , $6 will be distributed to the senior members with whom he has joined, It contains 6 levels. Each level one gets $1 each.If my friend joins others as members of paypal, by paying 12 dollors,my friend also gets money in the same manner upto he reaches the highest level. If this goes well one can get millions of dollars depending upon the members joined under him.
I wish to ask you whether this is running well and reliable or a scam ?

I have merged your post of today to the response of your similar post yesterday. I hope it answers your question.
