Forum spam from India

We get these strange posts from Indian IPs occasionally, usually asking a question and posting a link to some website, pretending to be American and a prospective customer. When doing a Google search on some of the text we can usually find several other forums where the exact same message has been posted.

Quite a few Indian companies have gotten infamous for this, they call it SEO or internet marketing, it's intended to improve the ranking of a website in search engines. But when done in this manner it is nothing more than spam.

Usually these messages are unrelated to the forum topic. None of the ones we received are related to internet fraud. They consistently waste the time of well-intentioned people who attempt to help the poster, not knowing that they are just responding to a question that the poster never cared about, or intended to answer himself under a new identity a few days later. They are sneakier and more deceptive than typical spammers as they actually pretend to be "real people" making some kind of contribution, while in fact they're just paid shills.

I will list these spammers and companies that hire them here. If any company would prefer not being mentioned here, please feel free to contact us with the name of the company you hired for this shady, unethical service and we will be happy to replace your name with theirs. We realise you may not necessarily have been aware that these kinds of tactics were being used.

Indications points to a disreputable (American) SEO company by the name Web Wise Media (webwisemedia.com) being responsible for at least some of this spam.

I am middle aged and I have been able to achieve a good level of success in buying foreclosed properties over the years. Currently, I rent all the properties out to tenants, and maybe I will sell a few of the homes in a couple years when the market picks back up. But for now, I am most concerned about what would happen to these properties if I were to, heaven forbid, fall down with a heart attack, or get hit by a car.

I have three kids, and only one of them lives in California. So, I think I need to create some kind of living will and trust. My question is that if I create the living will and trust in California, will it govern my wishes in all other states? Will my kids be included?

My neighbor worked with James F. Sexton here in San Diego, has anyone heard of this Living Wills and Trust Attorney?

My son was skateboarding home one night and was on the correct side of the road when a truck came across the oncoming lane and hit him. He had a sprained ankle and was unable to walk for a week or so. At first she was refusing to respond to her insurance company and when I finally said I was going to get an attorney they were able to get ahold of her and she admitted she was at fault. Well I am not a sue happy person and I want my son to also know that it not right to take advantage of people. I do not know what the appropriate amount to accept as a settlement is. His emergency bills came to about $3,000. His property damage was $125. Can someone help me out with this?

And this supposed lawyer jumps in to answer:

Hold & see what offer/settlement the lady's ins. co. offers. I doubt for a sprained ankle they will offer much over the medical bills & property damage. If you don't believe the settlement is reasonable, talk to an attorney & get their advice.

Another question:

When i was 11 i was molested by my mom’s 40 year old boyfriend. It went on until i was 14. I was scared of him and if i told he said he would get me mom in trouble or hurt her. He would give my mom things to make her pass out or she would leave and he would mess with me. Eventually he raped me. My mom kept allowing him around even when i went to the law and he wasn't supposed to be. Because of this i do not feel comfortable with myself. I have a really low self esteem and don't like being exposed to a lot of ppl. I need help. How can i get over this and enjoy being a teenager?

I agree with everyone else here, you should indeed seek a rape crisis center for a support group. most centers offer weekly groups for victims that are dealing with a rape or molestation that happened years ago.

My 3 yr old, was molested by her biological father. They told me due to the laws, even though he failed it, the polygraph that he took and failed given by the military, was in admissable due to the current laws. What I would like to know is, how do I get the laws changed in cases such as your child's and mine. The have questions as to how reliable the information that our children give due to their age. Does anyone know who I need to write, email, whatever? In order to get these laws changed in these type cases, where the victim is under 5.

hlaw.org says on their website that they are using SEO services of "Web Wise Media", webwisemedia.com, a marketing company with a somewhat questionable reputation. If they were responsible for this particularly disgusting example of forum spam I have no way of knowing, but it seems to fit with their previous tactics.
