If a company is in the "ofta" "List of "Radio Dealer (Unrestricted) Licensees". Is it safe to order from these?

The problem with Chinese companies is usually the quality or authenticity of the goods, not that they don't deliver. The fact that they don't have many hits in Google and still provide so many different brand mobiles is enough reason to be suspicious. They do not even have a website.

I don't know about ofta.gov.hk, but the number and address there doesn't match the Alibaba listing.

For me, it's hard to tell how legitimate a Chinese company is. When it comes to doing due diligence as a company, there are individuals and companies who can assist you for a price. They are not difficult to find if you read the Alibaba forums.

I ordered just 3 phones from First Pioneer Components Ltd. This company is located at Room 16/O, Duhui 100 Building B, Zhonghang Road, Futian District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. China Their contact number is 86-755-82814078. My name is Rooban and im located in Singapore. My contact number is 65-62573854. I basically want to share my very terrible terrible experience i had with this company. But before that i want to know, Dear Mr. Alibaba, whoever you may be, When you say you authenticate someone as a gold supplier, you only make sure he delivers his goods. However a Gold supplier doesnt mean he's a good supplier! The goods i bought from this company did arrive. They were not packed in a box but instead wrapped in brown paper and taped around with a brown adhesive tape! My phone box packaging came in damaged. Moreover the phone which i ordered was 7360 Amber and what i got was a 7360 box labelled Amber outside and the phone that was inside was Coffee Black. The imei codes for the phone box and the phone obviously didnt match. Thats the second issue. The third thing i found out was that the company sold me a refurbished 7200 nokia claiming that its brand new! They had actually lied to me thinking that i wont find out. All these factors had really ****ed me off! When i complained to them about this they just told me that i would get a discount the next time round. How much?? 3 usd discount for my next order! After this you still expect me to order from them! Never! I asked them to compensate the amount. They said return back the phone and they will refund me the full amount. Then what will happen to my bank fees when i initially paid to send them money to buy the phones, the shipping cost i paid for the phones to be shipped here! Now they expect me to ship my phones back to them and they want me to bear shipping cost coz of their mistake! Where is the justice in this. Then they suggested that they will pay me 50USD then they are giving me excuses that the transfer charges are more than 50USD. Well western union doesnt Charge much. Well my feedback for this company is going to be zero out of a million points. I will make my problem known to everyone in this website. Gold supplier doesnt mean good supplier. Im not defaming anyone neither am i abusing anyone. I just want people to be more aware of things going around in here. Dont get cheated because they are verified. Cause people still cheat. I want ACTION TO BE TAKEN! I will make sure i spread this awareness to everyone. This will be the feedback for first pioneer ltd! I want you to reply to this thread on what you going to do about my 50USD. Well i hope i gain some sympathy from people who have been in my shoe at one point of time are going to be soon....

refused to acknowledge my claim
after you sent out payment they will somehow "out of stock" so they still owed me $300
Currently i have been caling them every now and then to get my refund but their boss is too busy not caring

DO NOT buy from them! I bought 2 phones off them and both had faulty reception. They were junk. So my experience with them is currently 0% good, 100% bad products.
Then i asked them are they refurb or oem 'high quality' and they wouldn't even give me a straight answer. They said "You have received the phones, so you know the quality. The phone is original." Yeah, i know the quality, it's crap!
They said they are going to give me 2 new phones in my next order but my next order, they'll probably give me the same crap goods aswell.
They kept saying that the phones got damaged during shipping but i've never heard of internal damage to a phone during shipping. There was no damage on the outside.

My advise to anyone who want to do buisness with china is to work with escrow service.

Of course compagnies on alibaba won't do that.

Just to make a point about Escrow. Many scammers will suggest an Escrow service as part of their scam. If you wish to protect yourself, use an Escrow service that you know is trustworthy, and never accept a service suggested to you by the person you are buying from. Even if they use a name of a known Escrow service, be sure to check any emails from them as they may be fake.

If a company refuses to use Escrow, move along and find another supplier, or find a supplier in your own country using companies from your own trade journals.

Before You Dealing with Kennmas Trading Company in China, Pls Read This

I start dealing with Kennmas on Last December. I am a UK EBay power seller & I got good reputation on my account. I found Keenmas trading from Alibaba website. Keenmas staff says Their Mobiles are Original and Brand new. As a first order I ordered 5 Nokia 8800 Phones & few Apple Ipod mp3 Players from keenmas.I got the delivery and their staffs was very helpful when I do the order. When I see the Items I realized that Phones are refurbished. Out of five Nokia 8800 three are faulty. After using two three days Phones were playing up. Two phones were dead within a week. Some phones No signals, Screesflashing, Battery doesn't last for Two hours. On Apple Ipods battery last only 4 hours & Screens playing up. All the accessories are faulty. When I Contact the Keenmas sales girl Call Wendy, keep telling me that coze of Tranportation.This is the first time I ever heard inside the phones getting faulty coze of Transportation. That silly Girl thinks that she is cleaver & I was born on yesterday.

So I Repair two phones from London and I had to spend so much money. One phone I had to send it to keenmas fro repair.Coze Keenmas says they can't take three phones. so they accept to repair only one phone. Anyway they took month weeks to repair that phone. After repair the phone Keenmas said I have to Order more items for Get my Faulty item back. So I had to order 5 Samsung E900 D900.They insist that Minimum order is 10items.I had only one option & I need to get my faulty phone back. I got the delivery with My Faulty Nokia phone. I checked the nokia and it's still faulty, few keys on the key pad didn't work. I took in to the Noka Authorized dealer in my city in London. They Check the IMEI Number With their computer system and they said Mother Board Scrapped in china. They said don't ever buy mobile phones from this company. When I tell this story to Kennmas, They didn't believe. Few D900 & E900 Phone s faulty too. I really was in a hell.D900 & E900 Phones was crap, Battery doest last even for hour, Most of accessories were faulty too. Phones chargers burned after few days used. When I contact the keenmas silly sales girl call Wendy says same old their excuses. One time they she said they are originals and one time she said when they poor Chinese boys assembled the phone some time the are tired and do the mistakes.

Any how after so many discussions and argument they agreed to Repair That Nokia 8800 and One E900.After repairing the two phones again they said I have to order more items to get my repair phone back. I said to them I'm not willing to buy more items from Keenams and I ask them to send it back my Faulty ones. They said if not I have to pay £45.So I didn't have any option, I send money through western union and got my return back. But they are still faulty. When I contact them again they ignore everything. So I end up with l losing lots of money from Another Chinese Scammer & I lost my power seller account in EBay.

After all this I was bit surpriced.Coze Keenmas is an Alibaba Gold Member and Trust Passed. I just try to speak with they manager call Kenny. But keenmas staff never passed the phone to Kenny, They always saying manager not in the office or he is in a meeting. I still got the invoices with dealing with keenmas and if anyone saying that keenmas is a trusted company, I can prove against them. I got my customer complain letters and Paypal Disputes too. Although the have flashing website with pictures of newest models, when u enquirer, they don't have none of them in stock. Coze they only have refurbished crap. If any one wants to talk to me please contact me via Trade Manager. I realized after dealing with Keenmas trading they are another Crap Chinese Scammer.

I ordered a few phones from them I ad foolishly already made payment when I later found this post warning me about them I was reassured many times the units were brand new guaranteed "I promise' but I was dissapointed to see they were clearly used possibly refurbished & missing accessories. i quried them about this and they give many excuses even saying its impossible but then tell me they have to test all the phones first but if it new why do you need to test? they were more than tested they were well used and they just keep telling me they are new.

Keenmas intl trading cannot be trusted you may get a product but not what you paid for they are liars complete frauds.

I send a wire transfer for 100 new peaces of Sony Ericsson K310 to Keenmass. And what do I receive;
I receive 100 refurbished phones , defective usb not allowing none of them to connect to the pc. After finding the problems of this phones I send them to a company named tech-comm to certifies this phones are refurbishes.
So be carefull with this company,don't get scam like me
