This scam email claims to offer you some "work" as a "payment agent" to collect "client monies" for some fictitious company. Later, you might get asked for some "contract fees", "application fees", "processing fees", etc, etc. Either that or you will be sent fake or stolen cheques and bank drafts for you to pay into your bank account. Otherwise, the scammers will pay a fake cheque or draft into your account. Your bank account will initially show this payment into your account. At this point, you will then be asked to remit 90% of the money to the scammers. When your bank later finds out that the document is fake, YOU will be required to pay back ALL the money AND also be investigated for bank fraud. (There is a more detailed article about these "job scams" elsewhere on this website. Please ask for assistance if you cannot locate it yourself.)
Scam Alert Points:
1. Note the use of free webmail addresses by the scammer
2. The attempt to switch the victim to another email address in case the first one gets closed for spamming.
3. Email is not actually addressed to you even though he is offering YOU the "job"!
4. The scammer is offering you a "job" which you did not apply for.
