Une victime qui heureusement nous a contactés avant de débourser de l'argent, nous a fait parvenir toutes ses correspondances avec les fraudeurs incluant les faux documents, dans l'espoir que ceci aidera à la prévention pour les victimes potentielles dans le futur.

Dans cette fraude, les criminels se font passer pour des représentants du gouvernement du Cameroun. Il place des annonces dans les sites d'affaires à la recherche de manufacturiers intéressés à exporter au Cameroun et les invites à places des appels d'offres sur des produits variés. Il procède alors a faire parvenir des faux documents démontrant que cet appel d'offre l'a remporté et pour renforcer la confiance de leur victime, il propose que le montant total du contrat soit déposé dans le compte de banque de l'exportateur avant les expéditions des produits.

Ils sont ensuite recommandés à un avocat où barrister qui s'occupera de la documentation qui par la suite demande des frais divers pour soit disant permis et documents de toute sorte. La Fraude des Frais d'Avances classique (Advance Fee Fraud), ou 419 scam.

Dans cette fraude spécifique, l'adresse I.P. [196.207.10.38] des fraudeurs démontre qu'ils sont en fait au Nigéria et non au Cameroon malgré qu'apparemment ils y aient un complice. Ils se serve d'une addresse @fastermail qui est un service de webmail gratuit tel que Yahoo. Un autre addresse est @mail2cameroon.com et ceci n'est pas une addresse du Cameroon mais simplement un autre service webmail gratuit basé au Etats Unis.
