It's a scam. The loan does not exist. They will ask for a fee before the alleged 'loan' is sent to you. Even if the offer was real, it would be illegal to ask for an upfront fee for a loan.

Offers of money that arrive in your email unexpectedly are all FRAUDS, stop answering them and stay safe. If you need a loan, try a local bank. You won't find a loan by answering unknown individuals by email, you'll simply loose money.

I am in connecticut,I apply for a personal loan online, I get approved... in return they ask for a "Collateral fee or a "premium fee" which has to be paid before I recieve the Loan... to secure my loan due to my credit. Is that legal?

If I had extra money for that I would not be asking for a Loan in the first place!!

Every real loan company I've ever dealt with has been only to happy to add any loan fees onto the loan itself. After all, there business is lending money!
