this person said they was going to send me a puppy from Victoria Cameroon...i had already emailed this person giving my full name and city and state where i am from...then i researched where they were from and got here...can they do anything to me with my name and where im from...i didnt give my full address. some advice would be greatly apreciated because i fall for stuff like this..i fell for the paypal thing to a while back.

In most instances you do not need to worry. Name and address will not cause problems even if you include the City. It appears contact was made with them via email. The only recommendation I would make at this point is change your email address. I know this will be difficult to do depending on how many friends you communicate with. I say change the email because the scammers have you email address. They will provide this information to other scammers and change things up a little to get you to bite.
