Microsoft? AOL scam is back or did it ever stop??

I received an e-mail on a e-mail drawing stating I had won 950,000. US Dollars...
This scam was reported a year ago, now they are back...
can I send this information to authorities, or what do I do..

These emails are, unfortunately, still exceedingly common and received by hundreds of thousands of people every day. Thankfully, more and more people are becoming aware that these are nothing but scams, and they are doing the correct thing - recognizing, ignoring and deleting.
