I'm brand new to all this so sorry if I repeat questions that have been answered before. When I got this obvious scam offer on the UK LOTTERY, I traced the unusual e-mail address on Google. It belongs to a student at a local college. What's my next step? I don't want to put this kid in jeopardy if he/she is innocent in all this. On the other hand......?

Moved from an UNRELATED thread.
What was the email field being used? From? To? Reply-To? Generally the email addresses in From or To fields are rubbish, just like any other spam. The valid email address is the one the scammer wants a reply on.
You need to provide the header for further intel.
