I received this from a United Nations program researcher we helped solve a scam problem:

I'm really glad that you guys are on the ball, and you can print that if it would help you in any way. If there's ever anything you guys need from the UN, let me know and I'll be happy to help you out.

All the best --

That's wonderful, poirot - thanks for sharing :) As ever, the best and most useful weapon we have against these crimes is the propagation of information to as far-reaching an audience as possible; ideally, a UN based programme that aims towards that objective can only help in the long run :)

Huzzah for us (or those involved actually). Was this regarding the IAFAO recruitment scam posted earlier?

EDIT: I see that it is. I sent a note to Temple Univ. as a reminder to please remove it. I pointed out one of the more peculiar lines in the ad:

New Entrants employed with IAFAO may retire voluntarily after 20years of service. Retirement is mandatory at age 65.

It's ok if you like job security I guess.

Thank you all for the kind words.

And thanks for sending that note to Temple U, jasnrichrdsn. Every bit helps since they still have not removed it.

I just PM'ed you some contacts there that perhaps you could pressure as well.

jasnrichrdsn! ....it has a nice ring to it. :)
