INDEX of all U.N. & USAID Job Scams (http://www.fraudwatchers.org/forums/showthread.php?p=6129#post6129)

Copy of scam letter can be viewed here: http://fraudwatchers.org/forums/showthread.php?p=5311#post5311

It has been brought to our attention that the popular United Nations program Cyberschoolbus is being used for a fraudulent fake training program. The scam letter is being circulated in Cameroon and Gabon, and most probably in neighboring countries. These criminals fraudulently ask for various fees which is illegal, and in return, offer absolutely nothing because their fake training program simply does not exist. Please note that the web site of the real Cyberschoolbus program is at: http://www.un.org/Pubs/CyberSchoolBus

NEPAD's site is at: http://www.nepad.org
On their site we can read: "NEPAD, as a matter of practice, does not charge any application, processing or training fee at any stage of the recruitment process."

NEPAD's job opportunities are listed at: http://www.nepad.org/2005/files/jp.php

U.N. officials from the Cyberschoolbus program have confirmed to Fraudwatchers that this message is indeed a fraud. If you know of anyone who is considering signing up, do them a favour and tell them about our warning. If they have any doubts about this or any other U.N. programs, we will be glad to answer their questions and hopefully prevent them from being scammed.

I received a mail from one Dr. Clarke Inglewood who claimed to be a pilot officer of the UNDP/NEPAD Training Programme.

After about 3 exchange of mails and documents I was asked to pay the sum of $150 USD being cost of shipping original registration, hardcopy justification document thruogh DHL Courier Services. The money is supposed to be paid through one Mrs. Khoury Yaye Ndao of Dakar-Senegal as the African/Asian Co-ordinator.

Could you please certify whether these claims are genuine or fake?

I await your prompt response.
Regards,
John.

Hi and Welcome to Fraudwatchers.

The people you are in contact with are indeed criminals.

The real NEPAD job listing is posted here:
http://www.nepad.org/2005/files/jp.php

They DO NOT charge fees to ship documents. Applications are emailed to edrecruit@nepad.org

so as you see, the email domain name of the real NEPAD is @nepad.org and not @yahoo or @myway or any other free webmail.

Don't send them any money and cut off all contact with them.

If you go to the Index of U.N. job scams (http://www.fraudwatchers.org/forums/showthread.php?p=6129)

you will see the name of Inglewood along with others. Note that this is only a partial list as they are using many other names as well.

The email address programdirector111@yahoo.ca is from scammers. Don't send them any money.

The U.N. never advertises it's job openings by email or on various forum bullitin boards.

Also, the United Nations never ask for fees to be paid in advance this way, only criminals do.

They are no from the U.N. and they have no jobs to offer as they pretend, they are simply low-life thieves trying to steal from you.
