ID Theft Ring Update (yes, another)

For those of you who are familiar with Texas there is a very common phase associated with television and radio advertisements . . . DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS!

I am sending this because I posted a thread several months ago about the identity theft ring arrested. All of them are currently serving their time in the federal graybar hotel. :lol: Most of the charges on this case were taken to the federal level because the victims were throughout the county.

Since they were convicted on the federal level for identity theft they thought everything was all lumped together. Now comes the phrase, Don't Mess With Texas. The District Attorney Office decided there were victims here in Texas that were not covered by the federal conviction. All of them were brought up on additonal charges because of crimes committed against the state, marijuana, failure to identity and many other. So once they complete the federal time they will be transferred to a state graybar hotel to serve even more time.

This goes to show people need to have faith in the legal system. You never know what will happen.

While sometimes it's hard to have faith in the legal system, it's not difficult at all to have faith in guys like you. You investigate, you collate all the info and you make it happen.

So, :thumbup: to you and the rest of the crew who did the magic. That's a few more crooks off the streets, and scores of people saved the grief of identity theft.
