Dear Friends,
Following are the faults found with Optima or any other acting as consulting company:
1. First of all, there is no require to file visa fees and no experience required to work in the U.S.A
a)No Visa Processing Fee.
b)No Experience.
c)only up to P.G degree or 15 years education is necessary.
But Optima charges $4400=Rs. 2,00,000 approximately and have no clients and it is the client who pays for the visa fee on behalf of candidate.
2. Before taking the visa fee these people doesn't notify the candidate that it takes long time to get visa stamped as it happened to me and am still waiting for 2 years to get my visa stamped.
3. Another loop hole is that they specify to approach for specified consulate to get visa stamped. Now this specified consulate when issues date for applying is unknown especially when applying from other region than the consulate where it is located.
4. Recently, Kuwait consulate announced that this company Optima is under suspicion of "Under Investigation".
5. And these people takes the exploitation of innocence of the people without refunding the visa fee.
6. I like to say in good faith to all the people who read this that there is immense of opportunity to exploit in India for jobs in Multinational companies. So, request to not to waste money and time.
7. Now,this people are not reponding and there existence is in doubt whether arrested or still operating.
Finally, request all the people from southeners applying to Optima to contact me to the following email id or contact number provided below as am also waiting for the dates to be issued by the specified consulate:

Thank you for your post, johnsmith - this is something that I had suspected all along. Optima Resources are the same as Accurum Technologies, are the same as CLD Associates.
All have been found to be extremely dubious in their ethical, moral and business practices.
I have removed your personal details from your post as these are open forums, and such information is often harvested by robots (automated scripts) that add email addresses and phone numbers to spam lists.
Any responses and observations can be made here in reply to your post, or alternatively can be emailed to http://www.fraudwatchers.org/imsem/em_inform.png

Beware of visa and employment scammers. As the world economies turn downwards, these sort of low-life will pop up more and more often to exploit new migrants desperate to make a decent living elsewhere.
In my official role, I have checked into Accurum Technologies and similiar outfits and nothing good ever pops up. Avoid all unreputable outfits which have not been recommended by the local consulate or embassy, is my simple advice.

Hello,
Considering that the title of the forum that this thread is in, is called "Fraud: Accurum Technologies/Optima Resources" you should not really need to ask.
The answers are already available in this forum.

@ronny. Just read this link: http://www.fraudwatchers.org/forums/view.php?pg=fw_visa_india
Read carefully what the US government says about work visas. Then you will know for sure whether the email you received is a scam or not.
Quote from the US government: We especially want to tell everyone in India that no firm or person can help you obtain a U.S. visa. The only way to obtain a U.S. visa is to present legitimate documents. The U.S. cooperates with the Government of India on the arrest of people with false documents and those who seek to gain U.S. visas fraudulently.

hi all,
I am too confused to know about optima..i was about to transfer the 3.9k to their account, but i was worried when they said that it is non-taxable income and hence they will not write a email asking for it and also the fact that I called them and asked them to do it instead of them calling me for requirements.
the above letter is the same i got from them and honestly dont know whether to thank the folks or is it some one who is angry on optima who is writing this..
why are optima not responding to such questions then ? why is US still allowing these kind of fraudsters (if confirmed) in USA and spoiling their name..why are they not arrested then ?
so many questions arise, pl confirm action..

It can take months or years for the authorities to mount solid cases against known swindlers. Knowing inside whether something is a scam/fraud or not is a very far cry from making litigation stick.

Good idea to ask them to put it in writing. The fact that they refuse to do this should be quite enough evidence to dismiss them as completely fraudulent. No legitimate company would refuse to put payments into writing and contract, they may as well rename themselves "Suboptimal Thieves and Robbers Inc". If you still believe they may be legitimate despite this then there is nothing anyone here can do to help you.
they said that it is non-taxable income
They want to receive the payment without paying taxes? This would mean they actually admit they are trying to commit tax fraud
Are they just stupid or are they trying to cover up their fraud with something that the customer will see as a lesser crime...?
And do you really want to deal with a company that admits to committing tax fraud?
why are optima not responding to such questions then ?
Good question, but I doubt they have any answers that can stand up to public scrutiny. They are very much welcome to do so here if they choose, instead of sending vague legal threats where they can't even define what they are complaining about.

They asked me to pay USD 3400. since I dint get genuine results about optima, I dint pay.
What do you not understand? You are being asked to pay a huge amount of money for what amounts to nothing more than a flimsy notion that you may get a job? Try reading the information in this forum again and applying due dilligence. Read also this article [US Visa Information - India (http://www.fraudwatchers.org/forums/view.php?pg=fw_visa_india)] and follow the advice shown.
Ask them to put the request for payment IN WRITING. They will not do that because they are crooks who do not wish to leave a financial paper trail. If they were genuine they would have no problem doing that, but they are not genuine, they are trying to rip you off.

6. I like to say in good faith to all the people who read this that there is immense of opportunity to exploit in India for jobs in Multinational companies. So, request to not to waste money and time.
7. After seeing this message these people told they missed the case some how in between, so the consulate themselves calls for submitting the documents and suggesting an option to reapply for new visa quota but how far this is justifiable when wooed the candidate for 2 years is unknown.
8. It is worthy to report to F.B.I or U.S Consulate or Interpol so as to atleast get back the paid money but it is unknown whether any action going to be taken on them or they respond for cheating or leave it to candidates fate for such money paid.
9. Finally, these people are irresponsible and not bothered to respond to e-mails or the candidates future or their parents whose aspirations are brutally fooled by such cheating.
Finally, request all the people from southeners applying to Optima to contact me to the following email id or contact number provided below as am also waiting for the dates to be issued by the specified consulate:

I too was a victim of Optima Fraud. I spent up to 60 dollars for taxi fare to attend their imterview on time. I did not know the company was a fake at the time. After a period of 4 days or so I was called and told I got the job. You can imagine how happy i was. I even told all my friends and family that I got a new job. I was then told to come to their office
to finalize things as well as to sign an employee contract and training contract. I was told to come with my social insurance number, passport, and driver's licence. I'm glad i did not come with any of that cause prior to my coming, my IT friend told me that he too had applied two years ago to the company and that he had sent documents over but never recieved the H1B visa. I guess they didnt correspond with him properly. He told me to be careful of Id theft. I got to their office which i know must be fake, i said i will give them benefit of doubt and read the contract. I was stunned at what i saw in their contract. The contract said that I would have to agree to work for them full time for a period of two years, and that if i were to quit any time in between those two years, I would be liable to pay them 15,000 to make up for the cost of training and etc... That was bull****. I refused to put my signature on that paper, cause what if something were to happen to me in between those 2 years i would not be able to quit cause i will owe 15 thousand dollars. I addressed this concern immediately with a man there in the office and told him i will not be signing for now.. I then tried immediately to exit that office cause i remember feeling so trapped. I told them i may be coming back the next day with my social insurance and passport which I know is just a lie for them to leave me alone. I then exited the office and will not be going back. Please dont be a slave to this scam. I wrote all these to help anyone researching this company who may be a potential victim.
