Scamming User

We've just had a user register with FraudWatchers who was a scammer. His username was benjamen and his IP address was: b_susa208@yahoo.fr

He proceeded to send private messages to over 50 of our members, all using a typically lying scamming format of being an only child of murdered parents etc. etc.

His IP trces to Cote d'Ivoire, and his attempts to scam people of this site has now made him a high priority target as far as Fraudwatchers is concerned.

As mentioned, this lowlife scumbag scammer's email address is: b_susa208@yahoo.fr

and his name is benjamen.

This will not be tolerated and is picked up by us very quickly. Anyone found doing this is abusing the site and will be banned instantly. All such messages will be deleted from the system immediately, so nothing is gained by it.

Recd email via private message yesterday from the above ID. The person registered yesterday, has Zero posts. The emailer asked me to tell him/her if this email is a scam by contacting them through a free hotmail account.

Why did this sender not post the email him/herself? .....

I sent pm to this sender a few minutes ago to let him/her know that the emails are bieng posted for him/her. Also, will not contact person I do not know and especially if they are using a free hotmail account.....

JOB PROCEEDING/REQUIREMENT:

Hmmm... I got the same PM from saji789, twice. First time, I replied saying it was a scam and asking why he sent it to me. He also has no forum posts. Claims to be from Qatar.

The above two were not from the user benjamen as described in the first post.

Benjamen literally wrote his PM as though it was a standard 419 email, same format same text.

Very naughty.

Frazzle, Mine received is same as yours. It has all the earmarks of a scammer. This could well be, Benjamin using a different name, etc. I think we have scammers just trying to get our email addressess outside of out site, here. Yep.....saji789, same as yours.
