What's up people. First of all , I'm really glad I found this site. Thanks for all the great info.

Let's get down to business. I was gonna order some "Gucci" shoes from Shoesbc.com , for about $60.

As a matter of fact, I was just gonna leave the house , go to Western Union and make the payment to them. But I decided to look up some info first , and I found this great site..

Any of you know if shoesbc.com is legit ? I saw them in the long , suspected chinese scammers list. But maybe there's someone here who can tell me 100% what's the deal with this site?

Greetings ,

Sergio

Besides that it has the same design as many other scam sites, even in the off chance that they actually deliver anything, it will be counterfeit. You can't buy such items legally from China, it will all be fake. Read here for more information:

Hey same here... my friend bought some Jordan's. So they are fake? I don't really want to buy fakes either. Is there a chance that these are stolen or something. I'm cool with that, hahaha.

Ha. Ha. Ha.

Not a chance in hell it's authentic. That's assuming they deliver at all, which I'm not qualified to judge. Some of these counterfeiter companies will scam you on large orders but deliver on small ones for example, you can never trust them. That's the tricky thing when doing extralegal business...

Actually I would have to disagree.......Shoesbc.com is rather reputable. I have dealt with them for 2 years now. Although the products are replica they are of good quality. So, if you can care less about the authenticity, they are a good company but if you need %100 NONE of those chinese sites are going to offer you that unless specified. I have had over 20 complete orders with Shoesbc.com and if there was a problem, they were very helpful in resolving it. Willon (Yuan Yan) is actually a woman. We web cam chatted and she was able to show me some shoes from her office also.

Hmmm... apparently reputable includes stealing other people's designs??? I think I'd rather not deal with a "reputable" company!

they are a good company
My definition of "good" does not include people who steal other people's designs.

Remember folks... we have no idea who Adam is. It's entirely possible that he might in fact be the person behind Shoesbc.com.

Remember, if a company is prepared to steal another company's designs, then it's only a short step to stealing their customer's money too.

The point is that it is illegal to import counterfeit goods into the US, the UK, Canada or most other European countries.

This excerpt is taken from the US Customs and Border Protection website:

Trademarked and Copyrighted Articles

CBP enforces laws relating to the protection of trademarks and copyrights. Articles that infringe a federally registered trademark or copyright or copyright protected by the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works are subject to detention and/or seizure. Infringing articles may consist of articles that use a protected right without the authorization of the trademark or copyright owner or articles that copy or simulate a protected right.

Articles bearing marks that are counterfeit or inappropriately using a federally registered trademark are subject to seizure and forfeiture. The importation of articles intended for sale or public distribution bearing counterfeit marks may subject an individual to a civil fine if the registered trademark has also been recorded with CBP. Articles bearing marks that are confusingly similar to a CBP recorded registered trademark , and restricted gray market articles (goods bearing genuine marks not intended for U.S. importation for which CBP granted gray market protection) are subject to detention and seizure.

However, travelers arriving in the United States may be permitted an exemption and allowed to import one article of each type, which must accompany the person, bearing a counterfeit, confusingly similar or restricted gray market trademark, provided that the article is for personal use and is not for sale.

This exemption may be granted not more than once every 30 days. The arriving passenger may retain one article of each type accompanying the person. For example, an arriving person who has three purses, whether each bears a different infringing trademark, or whether all three bear the same infringing trademark, is permitted only one purse. If the article imported under the personal exemption provision is sold within one year after the date of importation, the article or its value is subject to forfeiture.
In regard to copyright infringement, articles that are determined by CBP to be clearly piratical of a protected copyright, i.e., unauthorized articles that are substantially similar to a material protected by a copyright, are subject to seizure. A personal use exemption for articles, similar to that described above also applies to copyrighted articles for the personal, non-commercial use of the importer and are not for sale or distribution.

You may bring back genuine trademarked and copyrighted articles (subject to duties). Products subject to copyright protection most commonly imported include software on CD-ROMs, sound recordings, toys, stuffed animals, clothing with cartoon characters, videotapes, DVDs, music CDs, and books. Products subject to trademark protection most commonly imported include handbags and accessories, and clothing.

I don't know what I think about Shoesbc. I have a couple friends who have used them countless times and received their goods. But sometimes the shoes came back and the sizes were wrong. They are replicas so every size 12 will not feel the same like they normal should. Also one of my friends sent two shoes back to them because of the wrong size and Shoebc said they will give my friend 2 new pairs. This happened last summer and he is still waiting.
They used to comunicate all the time via email but when they never returned his shoes, they no longer respond to him.

That being said you got to watch out for this company, sometimes they deliver sometimes the don't. The replicas are real good though

If you have read the posts in this thread you should already realize that you may have in fact already answered your own question.

They are replicas ... The replicas are real good though

Do said "replicas" contain the logo of the brand name? If so they are not replicas, they are counterfeits.

Trust is relative when dealing with any foreign trader, if said company has failed to deliver replacements and refuses to talk, that says a great deal about their business ethics.
